ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!!
HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can't go through the entire year only playing ONE ranked team (whether you beat them or not) and expect to even be considered for a national title.

Harry, I will take offense to that statement... just because they don't "belong" to the Big 10... doesn't mean that they don't deserve some respect for what they've done and a look by the BCS...

I do apologize for offending you but seriously........Strength of schedule is a factor. A major one the way I see it. If your confrence schedule isn't up to par with ranked teams then it falls to the coach to schedule tougher non confrence opponents.....and they didn't do that. One win over a ranked team doens't prove anything on account of the "Any Given Sunday" cliche. I'm not saying Boise has no talent but if they're as good as eveyone says then honestly thier schedule is the equivilent of Travis Bagent beating me and the rest of the florida novices and then expecting to be named AAA National Champ. I say if BSU really wants to prove that they're a top 10 team then next year they need to pick some big name non conference games and if they are still as successfull then they should look to moving into a different conference. Being a Competitive Athelete yourself I would hope you can understand what I'm saying.

And on a side note: If NCAA execs would wake up, establish some sort of playoff system and join the rest of the sports world in the 21st century then BSU would have had thier shot and so would a dozen or so other very deserving teams.

I did notice in that information that Oklahoma and USC lost to Oregon and Boise beat Oregon convincingly.
I am not saying that they are better than Florida but they are as good as the rest of the teams you listed.

Actually leonard. Boise beat Oregon state who did beat USC but didn't even play oklahoma. Oklahoma lost to U of Oregon. So make of that what you will. What I see is that BSU is the only team in this group AND the only team in the top 5 who didn't play one single ranked team during the regular season. Of this group Florida EASILY played the hardest schedule and I did watch both the Fiesta Bown and the Championship game and Honestly right now the way Florida played..........I don't think BSU comes close.
And if you knew how much I loathe the Gators you would know I'm being objective here,

Boise beat Oregon state who did beat USC but didn't even play oklahoma. Oklahoma lost to U of Oregon. So make of that what you will., Beating a Powerhouse like Sacramento State will not get you a National Championship. Ask any other Auburn fan. We played Ball State that year 13-0. Beat VA. Tech in the Sugar Bowl. BY the Way Harry: You lost to Tood King. Todd beat Charles Warmack. Charles beat Steven Adams. Steven Adams beat Todd King who beat you and ...........................who the Hell cares about OSU who beat USC who beat Mich who beat Notre Dame(sucks) and Notre Dame beat

Being a Competitive Athelete yourself I would hope you can understand what I'm saying. Harry, I do understand what you're saying... I just didn't like the laughing about BSU... They are not a very big school, but do well with what they have. Maybe next year's schedule will change and they'll step up to the challenge of some bigger schools... I guess it depends on what kind of confidence the coach has with the upcoming team. I went to high school in the same situation... a 4 year high school with 300 students... didn't fare well with the A-1 schools in the sports scene... same with BSU vs. Ohio state or any of the big 10... we're just a small state (barely 1 million population) with small schools... sometimes big on talent though... I've just generally been for the underdog...

next year is gonna be bad for them though they lose something like 14 seniors and probobly the most underated qb with the most balls and smarts in college football...
