Casey, I just saw the highlights of the fight. What did you think? I would like to see Peter and Briggs.

Mark, I was there! Hate to say it, but Peter won nearly every round. Toney looked flat, with no jab or speed. Not sure why, old age or new diet, we will see.
Peter will kill Briggs. Peter was in great shape, Briggs gets tired from the ring walk. I used to like him a lot, but now I think Holyfield has a chance to win a title. He looked terrible against Lichovich even though he won.

I have had one injury after another, mostly due to the fact I wasn't able to train enough working full time and running the boxing club while taking 6-12 credits at collage. I closed the club two months ago and I am feeling great! Ist tournament back will be the Oregon State championships. See you in Tahoe?

242 is the plan. Weight isn't coming off as easy as it used too.
Yea Peter looked very strong, dropped Toney with a jab. I'd like to see him fight the Russian giant.

Me too... I'd go with Peter. Valuev seems to be a bit of a punching bag and believe it or not doesn't hit that hard. Also, the Hard Rock in Hollywood has seating that is perfect. We were only about 40 yards from the ring and all the stars: Mancini, Hopkins, Shaq, Don King,. Hulk Hogan got the biggest ovation. My son met Hopkins, sort of, and he said his next fight was with Roy Jones, Jr. I'll root for Jones, but bet on Hopkins. He's just a little guy. I think I could take him. (As long as he didn't throw any punches). P.S. for anyone who wants to respond: My son and I have had several discussions about match ups from old and new fighters that were similiar in stature and reputation. Example: The Bad Boys: Hopkins vs Hagler at Middelweight - I like Hagler Golden Boys: Leonard vs Delahoya at Weltereight I like Leonard The Punchers: Hearns vs Trinidad at any weight - I like Hearns Duran vs Delahoya at welterweight: maybe Delahoya, Duran at Lightweight Roy Jones vs Tommy Hearns at Middle or Supermiddle - Don't know?? Depends on if Hearns lands the big right. Hearns and Hopkins at Middleweight - Don't know, probably Hopkins?
