This thread is an off-shoot from Justin's beer thread. I expect the response to be lower, but thought I'd try. What are your favorite wines?
Mine are Italian Piemontes like Barolos, Barbarescos. Problem is, I can't afford them very often; I can enter 3 or 4 tournaments for the price of a good one; about 6 or 7 tourneys for the great ones!
Valpolicellas and Montelpulcianos are good too.
Lately, been into Argentinian Malbecs - spicy reds akin to a Syrah/Shiraz...

Wines.......LOVE THEM!!! 1892 is a great bottle(SUPER) but its like $90 a pop. The Napa Valley has some nice cabernets. 2003 Franciscan Oakville Estate is one the comes to mind. And its only like $15 .
