Proof positive that anyone can get beat at anytime. Example Hughs, Franklin, Arlovski, Coture, etc. etc. etc..
Maybe soon Liddell........

My question about this is, why would a fighter who is known for his head kicks drop his hands when a kick is coming at him???
I picked Gonzaga to win, by submission though

HMMMMMMM........Didnt I say UFC was Better than Pride about a month ago, maybe 2 months.....Next Up Fedor Getting Knocked Out........by whom....That remains to be a question.
Just my two cents Arlovski looked good, controlled the whole fight with Fabricio Werdum, and Kongo had a solid fight against Silva....

I think UFC fighting is still in its infant stage. We are nowhere close to haveing a champ that can stand the test of time. In the beginning of a sport not to many people are involved. The more it grows the better the champ will be.
What is the most title fights has a champ defended his title? I would think not too many.

Bob, I don't think you will ever see a champion last for years. I believe the sport takes to much out of the fighters for them to have longevity. Chucks style I believe is best suited to allow him to last. However, that in my opinion will change when he fights Jackson. I think Liddell will win but I anticipate a brutal fight which will take a lot out of him for the future.
As far as Arlovski goes, another boring fight. I believe Fador will knock him out. Kongo looks like a force that will give the heavyweights some problems.

tank abbot is a plug, as for Defending their title I think Matt Hughes was 5-0 before he lost to bj penn, then quickly regained his title (politics) before dropping it to geroge st pierre, who has since lost the title to matt serra.....so matt huges spent from 2001 when he won it untill 2004 when he lost it to bj penn as the champ, then spent 2004 untill 2006 as the champ, so he spent the better part of 4 plus years as the champion of the welterweight class....

Justin
Plug is a term hockey players use to describe any person who is in a sport that doesnt belong there, basically its Just an all around greasy guy, usually bad at their chosen sport, and tank Abbott was a waste of a match on an mma card, he was a bar room fighter, once he started facing skilled mma opponents he quickly fell of the mma scene.......thus making him a plug..
