now thats funny. the nasty knockout i have ever seen in mma was tank abbot knocking out some dude...he looked dead. But yea he doesnt look difficult to beat if you can stay away from his hands for a lil give him a run around the ring and he is spent.

HMMMMMMM........Didnt I say UFC was Better than Pride about a month ago, maybe 2 months.....Next Up Fedor Getting Knocked Out........by whom....That remains to be a question. .... If I'm not mistaken Gonzaga came from pride as well, I believe thats where he lost to Werdum (as was mentioned by joe rogan) and that was one of the most vicious knockouts I've ever seen, I don't think cro cop was expecting that kick because Gonzaga was expected to try and take the fight to the ground, BEFORE the fight cro cop was widely considered to be a much better striker than Gonzaga It's my thought that you're seeing so many heaveywieghts/lightheaveyweights jump from pride to UFC is because they know they have an better chance at winning a belt in UFC. Not taking anything away from cotour but Fedor would eat him alive........I don't think there's a fighter anywhere that can beat him right now. I am however picking Liddel to beat rampage......he's on fire right now.

I would love to see Cotoure vs Fedor in the superbowl of MMA, right now i thing Cotoure could win in a fight against Fedor.....

Gonzaga has never fought in Pride but he did lose to Werdum in Jungle Fight which is an event that used to happen in Brazil. This was his 3rd pro fight very early in his career.

Ty, Thanks for the explanation.
I was watching pride last night and heard that Zuffa bought them out, I was thinking that I was half asleep when I heard it but guess not.

I wasn't aware of the buyout, makes sense tho.
As for cotoure lets not forget why he moved up from the lightheaveys, He was incapable of taking the title from Liddel and he saw a much easier win in taking the fight with sylvia. I might even be willing to bet my life savings on Fedor to beat Cotoure (if they were to ever fight) if he can't beat Liddel there's no way he could take Fedor.
What the hell is up with Arlovski and all these boring fights???

What the hell is up with Arlovski and all these boring fights??? Harry do you not realize Chuck Liddell has enough power in his punches to knockout anyman, regardless of weight.......Like Tito he too weighs in at 205lbs for fights, but he usually walks around at about 220lbs and after weigh ins, is usually back up to that weight, so in essence Liddell is fighting at only 10-15 lbs less than what fedor fights at........ as for arlovski's boring fights he is doig just enough to win on the score cards, yet avoiding any serious punishment, Kinda of a smart tactic if u ask me......is it fan freindly no, but its getting him wins, the same way sylvia did to win 3 or 4 fights in a row......all Andrei is doing is siting back and waiting for his chance o knck someone out if they make a mistake, and if memeory serves me correct, he dropped werdum a few times in their fight with punches to the chin, but wouldnt risk going into ground and pound against a fighter with better ju-jitsu than himself......for fear of getting submitted from the bottom..

Chuck Liddel is an absolute beast for sure. I just think Fedor is the top of the heap right now. If anyone were to beat him it would be Chuck, I don't think he would but he would prolly have the best chance unless fedor got him on the ground..........I can't see Cotoure having much more than a punchers chance in a fight against Fedor.
As for Arlovski.........I see what you're saying but fighting in a style which is that fan unfriendly won't do very much to convince Dana White to put him in a main event fight (booking a fighter in the middle of a string of boring fights would most certainly cost ratings and ticket sales)
