i can go on forver in telling you why im the other vote... There are a few mormons on this board and i dont want to offend them or even rehash some old arguments. But i will say the mormon support of the "blood atonement" doctrine.....is ungodly and unhealthy for the country...as well as support for polygomy.... and when people respond to this thread dont let anyone tell you the mormon religion doesnt support those ideas. not only do they support them, but i watched a documentary where one of the leaders years ago said they are trying to make the blood atonement doctrine legally recognized. It will be a sad day for this country if a mormon is elected. Allen, the only thing i have ever strongly disagreed with hannity on is his support for romney, even tho he has said romney is a flip flopper. i dont appreciate hannity saying that its boggoted to say that i will not vote for someone based on their religion.....i have the american right to vote based on whatever premis i want. and i will vote based on religion before i will any other issue....everytime A mans religion is at the core of who he is and what he believes. If he does not not follow the religion he claims....then he is not of that religion.....the word says you will know them by there fruits. John kerry had a fruit....his name was john edwards....ha...lol... i couldnt resist

WOW, Why not make the thread " would you vote for a, Roman Catholic,or a JEW (LOL NOW THATS FUNNY, could you imagine a JEW as President.....LMAO!!!!!!!). or a Muslim, or a Christian, or a Hindu, or a Buddist, or a Scientologist, or a Moonie....SHOULD I GO ON?? I'M SURE YOU WILL FIND SOMETHING WRONG WITH ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ryan: Finally after "some", and I said "SOME" ASSINE threads you've started and posts you've posted, This is the WORST!!!!!!!!
I certainly WOULD NEVER vote for someone who was of your "Faith" just based on this one thread.....

I would not vote on anyone based on religion. I would vote for who they are and what they stand for. I am not sure who I will vote for yet.

This one's funny.........lets start a poll..a real one.....who would you vote for
1. an atheist 2. a satanist 3. scientolgist 4. a mormon 5. Jehova's witness 6. draft dodger
why would religious preference have anything to do with it.....lol...

Yeah, we should definitely vote for whichever candidate is the right religion, and just throw all the other "unimportant" issues out the window.

there has never been a president in the history of the nation who didnt claim to be a christian, whether protestant or catholic. meaning....every president that has been elected is of "my religion" except of course the catholic few... but id claim a catholic president before i would anyone else outside of protestants

yall can hate me for this post all you want......but it is my american right to vote based on any premis i chose.
why does religion matter? because religion supercedes politics. A man who fears god will make decisions based on the goodness of the word rather than whats best for his party......the people can hold a man acountable to his religion far better than they can his politcal party
granted not all of our presidents have followed the religion they claim
