I was watching the Nathan's Famous Hot dog Eating Championship tonight, which an American finally beat Kobayashi and brought the mustard belt back to the US with 66 hot dogs in 15 minutes, and I saw that ESPN is having the National Rock, Paper, Scissors Championships on this Saturday.
I was just wondering why ESPN chooses to put this crap on national television when Armwrestling has a hell of a time getting any airtime. Especially when most the people I talk to enjoy watching Armwrestling, even though it's the same tournament airing over and over again.
Just wondering what everyone on this board thought about this. Quite frankly it pisses me off!

ESPN is garbage, and they can be, because they're a monopoly. It's up to some other network to step up and give ESPN a run for their money, but nobody has done that. Until then, we'll continue to get bombarded by hot dog eating contests, spelling bees, reruns of Michigan/Notre Dame games from 1980, nonstop Yanks/Sox coverage, and of course, arena football.
