When we can convince a multi billionaire to fund our major events, and muscle the mainstream media into exposing us more.

When arm wrestling can market a product and not be so incredibly boring to the typical sporting audience.

Baseball is incredibly boring and yet for some mysterious reason it is popular. Go figure.

Armwrestling is fun to participate in, but so S L O W when you're a spectator.
In baseball, there's what - maybe 45 min. of actual action over 3 hours, in 30 second increments? In boxing, action is more or less continuous.
In armwrestling, if the average match lasts 5 seconds, and there are for instance 50 entries in a double elimination tournament, this gives around 100 matches, or 500 seconds of action. That's less than 9 minutes. Over what period of time, 4 hours? You can mess with any of these numbers. Even double it to 10 seconds/match. Still not much time with action. Therein lies the problem, in my opinion.
People want to see the action, and armwrestling doesn't provide enough total action time for them.

Bob I believe it's the opposite. Arm wrestling can be very time consuming. Especially with guy's who want to take an eternity to take a fare grip. Image not understanding the sport and watching that crap! they would say what the hell is that guy's problem this is boring.(Click) next channel. (Not really the problem but I wanted to through that in) This is how they should do it unfortunately like most sport's it's the pro's who get the big bucks. So the top guy's should be featured similar to Boxing matches. Yes hype is part of Boxing so should it be for Arm wrestling.I think Travis Bagent gets it. To be Honest I saw Travis on T.V. before I ever met Devon. Being a strong Guy not understanding arm wrestling as a sport I said Man that guy's a dick I'd smash that guy!! Then reality hit me and I met Devon the immovable object. And from then on I was hooked. My point is the interesting thing about it all is I don't remember who he armwestled I don't remember how he won. I remembered that Travis was all over the place proclaiming his greatness. Like Prince nassim Hammed the Boxer who everyone Loved to hate but always ed watched. Travis has that appeal. And John a Alexei are like the Kiltschko brothers. I know pro wrestling has it's issues. but they tap into people's characters better than any sport does and all sports do it. Nicknames are great especially if they suit a man's personality and background. One good one is ToddZilla (the modern day Brezink. Small man giant killer) Promoting this sport like the mainstream fight game allows fan's to identify with their favorites as superheroes and so putting the Athlete to a new marketing Level. Travis's plan and the way the Europeans are putting on shows should be the model. Tourney style events should remain INTERNET. shows for the Hardcore fan. Look at it as the minor system. the big wigs watch them then choose the up en comers to be featured in the Big shows. I'll sit back and take some hit's Gippler out!

Bodybuilders sell supplements and fitness magazines. I guess they are fitness magazines, they look like soft core gay porn to me. They also sell tickets to the non competing audience.
