Here is my toy..It's a 71 Chevelle SS 454. So far it has run 9.65 @ 145mph in the 1/4. But it will go much faster once I get it figured out w/ my new engine. Just put this in last fall. 632ci big block chevy. Makes 1094hp and 894 ftlbs And this is my 01 Silverado 2500HD Duramax diesel. No wonder I'm always broke lol.

Dustin, would the stock transmission be able to handle 1100 HP? Or have you already changed that to a racing transmission?

Curtis, I don't make near as much money as my vehicles would lead you to believe!! lol
Bob, nothing is stock on my car anymore. I don't think any of the stock drive trane would have handled this new engine. Even my last racing tranny has since died because of the new motor lol.

Well, I guess some might think it pales compared to what you guys have, but I like it. Sorta falls in line with the fact that I have a Macbook at home: 2006 Mini Cooper S in hyper blue with black roof and chrome details 6-speed, loaded (incl. factory GPS with maps of N. America) 168 hp spec says 0-60 in 6.9, which is fun, but I really like it cuz it corners like it's on rails! ;D And it gets twice the mileage of my V8 Explorer (used mostly for carrying wood or dirt...) (you can see a slight reflection of that on the door..)

Nice car Bob. Those Mini Cooper S's are very nice cars. I'm 6'1" and I fit in there pretty good to my surprise. I was amazed with the overall acceleration and performance of it too.
