I recently went to empty my recylce bin on my desktop but accidentally deleted my Recycle Bin!!! Does anyone know how I can restore it to my desktop again?

start control panel appearance and personalization personalization under task click change desktop icon recheck recyle bin and click okay

That's actually one of the first things I learned in college. "Computers are stupid machines, they only do what you tell them to". That's doesn't mean that we still can't blame them though.

I specifically knew this answer because I have done it about three times over the course of my computer lifetime and eachtime I have forgotten the fix. thankfully I almost remembered this time.
had to do a little checking before I typed it out but I agree...I think all of the computer problems I have ever had have been my fault.
example...dropping external hard drives is a bad idea...trust me. I have learned that one the hard way. (a few times)
