www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2007/12/ron_paul_takes_on_repubs_from.htmlI believe Ron Paul is Right in saying slavery couldve been ended differently. HOWEVER the civil war had very lil to do with slavery. Lincoln was the only president to attack his own country. i admire Ron Pauls boldness to be so independent and free-thinking. and not making stupid comments to appease any group of people. That is the kind of president we need. whether you agree with him or not. This guy has more guts than anyone on the platform on either side of the isle

ive been watching him for a lil while. and i compare him to huckabee. I like both of them.
but ron paul seems to make it clear that he is not controlled by any elite group or "secret orginization".

LOL, I do not think that he is Catholic. Truth is, the politicians who claim to be "Catholic" are usually the worst ones!
No, a while ago I had mentioned to you that I was a Ron Paul supporter and you were Huckabee. Huckabee is currently my second pick.

i like huckabees morals.
but morals without action are practically useless.
granted i believe he will make moral decisions ....i didnt like that he said he doesnt believe in evololution. but he isnt interested in changing 8th grade science books.
if you identify a major moral delimma. DO SOMETHING TO CHANGE IT
Not long ago a school district in georgia went against the grain and simply put stickers on the insides of the science books that simply stated that the theory of evolution is only to be taught as theory. not fact. the schools performances began to exeed the other school districts in the state. but the supreme court rules to remove the stickers.
what was wrong with the stickers?
we need to change or at the least put a disclaimer.
BUT MY POINT IS
if you believe something is wrong. MAKE AN EFFORT TO FIX THE PROBLEM
Thats what i like about Ron Paul. HE doesnt care what you think of him. whether you call him a nut....and i did at one time. He sees a problem and is willing to make the steps to fix the problem rather than just apeal to your emotions about the problem

AH DUDE(?), My point is KNOW YOUR HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!
As usual you make an assine statement....Instead I ask you, WHY did Lincoln go to war with the South? Why did the South form the Confederate States? And why did They secede from the Union? Who attacked whom first?
BTW: Why am I insulting you? I asked a question, and followed it up with where you might have gotten your statement from...AGAIN...Thats all...

I use to think lincoln was the greatest president ever.
I never questioned that. until one day a goon at work and i was discussing religion and politics with (go figer). challenged me to rethink my position on lincoln. and pointed out a few things. and i began to think . and im ultimatly still undecided. but as of right now if you can show me that the civil war was needed. or if you can show me. that the war was justly faught. im going to keep leaning in the direction that lincoln made a huge mistake

OH GOD!!!!!! You make a statement that Lincoln attacked his own Country...I ask you questions, you don't answer and give some B.S. about not liking Lincoln.....WHO CARES. Then YOU want me to show you why the war was justifed...Which is it? My Point: Is it possible, probably not, that you don't make inaccurate, assine statements, where people might ACTUALLY BELIEVE YOU!!!!! BASICALLY: Lincoln is elected President, Republicans control Senate....Lincoln says we can't have a Country with half slavery and half not...South Carolina secedes from the union 1st..other SOUTHERN STATES follow...Which means what? ?.....Confederacy ATTACKS FORT SUMTER.........REREAD THAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..Where did Lincoln make a mistake? I guess he should have left slavery be........Is that his mistake? ? Robert: Remember Indians didn't count......Its was only just their Country......Read Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee......AND. no I wouldn't watch the HBO series....Since I read the book....Americans were vile and disgusting "humans" for what they did to the Indians.....The book should be mandatory reading in schools..
