That is great! It's amazing watching kids armwrestle, especially when they are taught to pull safely. I taught mine the very basics as well. They don't even know what they are doing, but I taught them backpressure and to never push with the shoulder. I doubt they have enough strength to even come close to hurting themselves, but lessons learned early are rarely forgotten. A little backpressure, cupping, a little pronation, and never rotate at the shoulder. My son, who is small for his age, has made quite a name for himself at school where the boys can't find anyone to beat him. It's been good for him, because he takes a good amount of crap about his size. Armwrestling has done wonders to shut up some of that nonsense and give him confidence. John that's awesome. My son is the same. Small for his age. Not really into mainstream sports (baseball, football, wrestling, etc) He's sees dad watching ArmTV and YouTube clips all the time and sees me train for it. Once I got my table built, he REALLY perked up. I hope he keeps at it. And hey, maybe sis will keep coming back for more. They have to want to though. I'll never force it. ;-)

I know I'm new here and I've only got a year and half under my belt in the sport, but I love teaching new people just as much as I love pulling itself. Doesn't matter if it's the safety basics or more advanced techniques, I love it. My son (almost 7, little brother) has taken an interest so I was teaching him the basics tonight. As much as a young mind can soak up anyway. He had the proper form down pretty dang good. Well he decides to challenge big sis (9) to armwrestle thinking he was just gonna put it on her. Well after giving her the safety riot act and some key pointers... they had a left hand/right hand super match. Little brother swept her 2-0, but left hand (their naturals) was a different story. She won the first, he won the second. 1-1. The rubber match had her taking his hand off the ready-go and he held her for a while but she was hanging on that little bicep! Haha She ended up winning. I enjoyed the crap out of that. They pulled smart, they pulled SAFE. Always watching their hands and listening to me. One proud dad. :-) (The pic is from a video of round 3 leftie) Attachments:

Robert- one thing I've noticed from most of the armwrestling community is a severe lack of presence in social media. I'd really like to see the UAL push further into Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Look at any major corporation and their success and they heavily invest in these areas. Connect with the people. Posting pictures of the new building/facilities to Instagram and linking it to Facebook and Twitter would be cool to see. I'm sure you know all of this, you're a smart guy. Just putting my .02 in there. I can't wait to see everything! \m/

If this is something where Rob is literally weighing in on topics of Armwrestling as a whole, I think this will be awesome. If it's just Rob telling the world how awesome he is and nobody can touch him... it'll get old quick. Rob gets pretty amp'd up at the table and brings excitement, but it doesn't mean he can't be civil on the mic and really have some great insight on our beloved sport. I say bring it on.

This one straight from Crossfit HQ. This one was pretty good. Travis jumping in there was funny.

As far as I know he owes a lot of people money. Y'all need get a lawyer, this guy is out of control. Oh fantastic. Figures. I think we need a mob to go knocking on his door.

I sent him $275 back in January for a couple Terminator handles to be made. I've received nothing. I've tried Facebook and I've emailed. Nothing back. "It'll take me a few weeks".
Uhhhh. Ok.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mike won fair and square (I guess) but it looked sloppy as usual. I also think people in the crowd were like WTH? They loved the Hale v Rhodes grinder though. You could hear the applause.
I just don't think this exhibition did armwrestling any good. Rushed matches, keeping the straps on... really?

After I submitted a light hearted pic to the UAL's Facebook showing them I got my new shirt and that I liked it... they asked me to post it here. "Brad - Love it! Thanks for the feedback, looks good. If you are a member of the North East Board post that pic so everyone can see how much better in person it is than online. :-) " Hoping to get more swag! Attachments:
