Scroll down to see the flyer.....March 31, 2007 Maine tournament held at the Maine Motor Sports Festival at the Lewiston, Maine Colisee Civic Center. This is confirmed and is a go! The NAPA Maine Motorsports Festival is a 2-day event that showcases premier racecars, drivers, and tracks in the state of Maine. The thousands of guests can participate in a variety of interactive activities, listen to live music, listen and talk to celebs like New England Patriot kicker Stephen Gostkowski, climb the Army Rock Wall, pit crew challenge, and visit with vendors, etc. I do not have the complete schedule of events yet, so stay tuned.... I do believe it is only $5 to get in!

This was an awesome tournament when I went to the one a few years ago. I would love to come up. It looks like a great venue. Congrats Kurt.

Thanks, James. Yeah, I remember you brought Shawn Freeman all the way from NY. He ended up taking home one of the 4' tripod trophies I gave away that year.
On a side....
I made a slight change in the Master's weight classes. They are now 0-220, 221-up.

The table will be available following the tourney for open table-time/practice!
Kill two birds with one stone by pulling in the tourney then get in a training session after!
But no later then 8pm, as that is when the venue closes.

Hey Kurt, I just want to make sure that i'll be alowwed to enter the teen class. I am 15 but, i've had a past experience that i went to a tourney and the person who was running it did not let me enter the teen class because, i i was pulling in left open class. I just want to make sure before i make the long trip that i'll be able to enter the teen class along with other classes i want to pull in.

Well....if you are 15 then you have the right to enter the 13-15 teen class.
However, since you are 15, you MUST have a parent or legal guardian with you, in-house, in order for you to compete. There are no exceptions to this rule. This goes for anyone that is under 18 years of age.

Here is a little video preview of the venue: Click HERE!!!! I apologize for my poor commentary. ;D I was told they have completely sold out of floor space and are now selling the space out in the lobby area. So......this place should be packed to the gills with plenty to do. I know this area is a little further north then my past tournaments, but just remember there is much more going on besides the tournament. In addition, I will be hanging out until the doors close at 8pm following the tourney, for open table time practice (for those who sign waivers). I also will be at the show Friday night from 5pm to 10pm with the table and trophies set up, kind of like a display booth. If anyone wants to weigh-in Friday night, I will allow that. The two closest hotels (2-miles from the venue) are: Motel 6 and the Ramada. Motel 6 will run you only $45-$50 a night, while the Ramada will be around $100 per night. They are directly next door to each other.
