30th Annual World Amatuer Arm Wrestling Championships 2007!
What a tournament!...too bad if you missed this event! It was fantastic!
First of all, I want to say thank you to all the competitors and spectators for their patience and
understanding when the wind...I MEAN WIND came up and delayed the start....everyone
pitched in and helped relocate to another area of the park, and the tournament was underway!
Special Note of Thanks to All the Seasoned Veteran Pullers that came out to support the event
What a gathering! John Woolsey, Bruce Way, Allan Fisher, Les Zolman, Bob Eazor, Clay Rozencranz!
what a nostalgic bunch! all these guys are icons in the sport and I really enjoyed seeing them again!
Right hand Bantam division, was easily one of the most exciting brackets with Jonny Sarhanis
putting Victor Torres in the losers bracket in the quarter finals! But you had to see it! Check results!

Right hand heavy division was almost a show stopper with a newcomer making his way through an
impressive field of competitors to take 3rd. Staraga from Florida, stated early on, he's not going to settle for
anything less than first!

Right hand super heavy weight division was packed with big guys with some unbelievable upsets!
Mark Clay from Colorado and Ed Shelton from CA met in quarter final rounds, Shelton put McClary in losers
bracket in the first round! Clay was undefeated heading into the finals! McClary upset Shelton and stayed
alive to take on Clay....Hit him hard off the top and gave Clay his first loss....see results! McClary stepped
up in weight to compete! what an impressive display of technique and stamina!

arm wrestling Icon.....Clay Rosencranz!
