Is this just pro, or is there an amateur and/or novice class as well?

Yes Josh its all open/pro if it keeps getting bigger like it has I might start putting in a novice. I wanted to do a 185 rotn but I guess ARMTV doesn't want new members from Illinois or any of the states around us.

So I've never competed in a tournament before, will this be way over my head (is it a lot harder than a typical novice-class at a tournament?). Also, what is the age restriction for this tournament? It is exactly a week before my 18th birthday, do you have to be 18 to pull? Or 21, because it's at a sports bar?

There is no age laws for the bar because they serve food. However you will need someone of age 18 or Older to sign for you for the tournament.

Sweet, so if you were like 5 you could pull there? But is the competition really hard, being a complete beginner I don't want to get my ass whooped in my first match ever.

There is alway alot of great talent at S.I. State but you will find that they will show you your mistakes and how to correct them if you ask. Mike West is the best one he still teaches me things

Josh you dont have to be a beginner to get your butt whipped everytime, trust me. it takes years to build up your technique and strength for this type of sport. losing is part of the process man. looks like your a lefty from your pic, come to the tourney and I can show you some stuff to make you better as I too am a lefty.
