Josh you dont have to be a beginner to get your butt whipped everytime, trust me. it takes years to build up your technique and strength for this type of sport. losing is part of the process man. looks like your a lefty from your pic, come to the tourney and I can show you some stuff to make you better as I too am a lefty. I am actually right handed... sorry about the pic, I have to hold the camera in my right hand, it keeps it still better. I am good with my left hand, too, last week this kid beat me right handed but I won left handed, and he IS left handed! I know you dont have to be a beginner to lose, but, wouldn't beginners like ALWAYS lost in an open tournament? I'll consider it.

I've learned to always talk to everyone you can at tournaments, that's the best way to learn. Also, watch alot of matches. You'll be surprised at what you learn.

That was a great tournament! I brought my buddy Dan and it was his first tournament and he's hooked now. Great learning environment; everyone was very nice and willing to dole out tips and advice to the other pullers. I know I learned a TON and can't wait to do it again next year. I found out Shawn (sp?) Dempsey lives pretty close to me so I'm looking forward to training with him and learning all I can. The thing I remember most is Mike West's inhuman endurance. He pulled multiple classes and one of the matches went on for-ev-er and he just kept going; never looked blown out. Dan and I were just shaking our heads in awe... Thanks for having us Blaine.
