Kurt Called my husband about a banner 4 days ago and offered Todd a discount since he has not responded in 2 months since Todd emailed him and Kurt said he was not doing banners anymore. Todd told Kurt he would send him $10 for his time since Kurt said it took him an hour. Todd also said do not put the banner up since it was only two weeks left! Kurt called Todd a F**king redneck"which is very offensive to Todd" and hung up the phone. Now he has banned Todd for 1yr from the message board. Kurt one of your rules is no racism but you seem to speak racially, because to alot of people in the South redneck is a racial term.

There was a period a month or so ago that I was not accepting any banner requests.
Then on Monday, March 10th I emailed Todd and said I would do his banner, but at a discount since there were only three weeks before the tourney. He said yes, go ahead to design the banner for $25.
So I did, and emailed it to him for approval Thursday morning (Mar 13).
Now I'm being told that Todd doesn't want the banner, because it isn't worth it at this point.
He should have just said 'no' on Monday if it wasn't worth it. Now I took the time to design the banner and he doesn't want to pay for it...well, only $10 'for my time'.
What I say over the phone has nothing to do with this board.

If you order food in a restaurant and leave without paying for it, then you normally aren't welcome back at that restaurant.
But it is more about principle at this point.
I sit in front of my computer enough as it is, I certainly don't want to waste over an hour of my time for no reason.

If the food is cold when it gets to your table you generally you leave Kurt. Todd offered you $10 for your time and said don't put up the banner! He had you on speaker phone and I heard your racist remark! So Kurty no matter how you spin it your a racist and a hypocrite! Todd was nice and pleasent for the entire coversation

Kurt, what you do not understand that Redneck is a very offensive term in the South to many people, especially Todd. Also what rule did Todd break to get banned for a year? You tried to threaten Todd by saying that if he did not send you the $25 you would delete him from the board! Kurt Todd said you can ban him for 100years he does not care. Also to put this on the off-topic forum is a little cowardly. Kurt it is your message board do with it as you will, but to act the way you did was not professional nor adult. Todd is not perfect by far but he at no time has never attacked anyone on this board who did not attack him first!

Kurt I assure you! since I've been married to him for 16yrs he was not being patronizing. Ask most people that know him and they will tell you this fact that ,it's not his style. Todd is the type of man that would give you his last dollar to help you if you needed it. Also if you thought Todd was trying to be patronizing, you should have asked him or tried to talk to him without threats or insults. You talk about principal! Todd has never and will never try to cheat or do wrong to anyone intentionally, also he will never come back to this board again, I no you will not lose sleep over it. Kurt you burned a bridge with Todd, I assure you Todd is the type of man, that will stand by your side if he feels your a friend and not care about the shots he may take in the process. Also heres a qoute I live by, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. When Todd offered you $10 it was for your time not to make a joke he again said to not post the banner. You say it took you an hour to do the banner! Then why did it take you four days to send it back to him! Don't answer it does not matter anymore, TODD IS TELLING ME TO QUIT RESPONDING! It's not worth the effort, everyone that knows Todd knows how he is.Again Todd requested you totally remove him from the board for life! Because he has no need in it! or you!

It didn't take me four days to do the banner.
I don't think I read his response to go ahead with the banner until Tuesday morning and ended up emailing him the finished banner for approval Thursday morning (which makes two days). So in those two days he decided it was not worth it? He should have just said no to the banner to begin with, when I asked him if he still wanted it on Monday.

Still Kurt from 1 hour till a 2 days seems excessive, but like I said it does not matter, you acted childish, and went to using racial insults to try and solve a problem that did not exist. Had you used respect with conversation instead of insults and threats then all would be well.

That don't make sense. That is exactly like Shane Vasquez choosing to buy Arm TV by the month and Gary chastising him for doing so instead of paying for a whole year.
I think you and Gary should both take a business class to learn proper business etiquette.
