I am in the process of planning the next Superstar Showdown here in Chehalis Washington. Although it will be hard to top last years event , i will try! I will soon have more information as to the whole venue. This will be an Invitational showdown once again, and will have The Worlds Greatest Pullers in TWO weight classes...The 198's and the 165's. I will invite the TEN best in each class, including Those from Sweden, Russia, UKR, Turkey ect..What i am looking for is input from all of you to assist me in picking The Absolute Best in the USA. .We have had polls about the best before, but what i am needing is...In these TWO classes there is great talent, and with Chad Silver's being the first committment, I need to find out who you think should be in these Classes!.. If anyone knows how to set up a Thread for me that would be able to list these pullers names..please let me know. I will have more news soon as it comes. This will be Filmed for an airing on ESPN, and will also have a Few suprise "Matches" thrown in. Thank you for you help ahead of time. Sincerely Sol Ingram

Hey Sol .... Your Superstar Showdown "2" looks like it is going to be bigger and better than your first one. You certainly have a great spot there to feature such an event. The town folk there are huge supporters of our great sport. I know I want to come down there again for the event...this time not spend half my time in the Hospital and come back and pull while I'm high on Morphine ;D The two classes you choose.... field a lot of great armwrestlers that would put on quite a show if they all showed up. Some of my picks would be... 165's Cobra Rhodes Allen Fisher Kenny Hughes Craig Tullier Olin Lucas Matt Harris Chris Chandler Denis Dubreil Dave Hicks Mike Barret Anthony del Antonio 198's John Brzenk ( I'm sure he can still make this class) Jacob Abbott Kevin Bongaurd Mike Selearis Steve Rau Bill Sinks Herman McCoy Troy Eaton Luke Reimer Pat Mastrangelo George Iszakiouts Actually there is a ton more that should be on these lists...but these are some ideas. It would be interesting to see what type of a list Engin would put together. Anyways ... keep us Canadians informed as well ... and we will support your event!  |

Vern , it is always great to hear from you! I hope you are doing well! These classes are stacked and i am paying attention to everybody's comments, Because there are so many A Class pullers plus some B+++ Pullers as well! It will be hard to take the 7 or so Pullers from these names. Thank you .. If you feel you are a puller that also wants to pull in this, and your name hasnt been said Yet, Let me know..
