Weight classes are always a fun debate. I have always liked to play with weight classes. I do agree with some comments that too many can be too much. But 3 is way too small to expect the sport to grow with continuing and INTERESTED MEMBERS...
i posted this on the other thread but thought I would put it in this new one too.
Here is 3 classes with good weight spacing
154 176 198 231 and over
or 150 171 187 209 242 and over
Or 150 171 198 225 255 and Over

For the grass roots development of the sport of armwrestling you are going to have to have more classes than just a few classes, there are some very experienced promoters on this site so I am sure they know better than I the sensible breaks of how many classes you should have depending on the size and scope of the event, (where you expect to draw your pullers from) local, regional, or a national size event.
154 176 198 231 Supers
This a good set for most events I think, certainly WAF standards for the Nationals and maybe take out the 231 at smaller events.
