Watching the armTV 2004 RENO , there are some very questionable elbow fouls.
If your forearm is always touching the pad when you dropped body some for a pull down , while Elbow could be slightly up but in the square of the pad still a foul?
How about elbow on the edge of the pad?
Some you cant see clear enough, and a few didnt look like fouls. Matt Harris's forearm never came up either on another?

Guy, I agree with you. Watching the Reno footage, Matt was fouled out four times and he clearly never fouled. No one that day even moved his arm near the pin pad. There were definitely some bad calls made on his matches. Matt looked strong, he should have been in the finals with Fisher...the officiating wasn't on his side.

I think that elbow fouls need to be lloked at differently. If the forearm is touching on a shoulder roll or side move attempt, it should not be a foul.
Also look at crazy george . It's ok for his elbow to be sometimes an inch or two up in the air because his tricep is on the pad. That is wrong. Having your elbow in the air makes your arm taller and harder to pull through. Forearm on the pad elbow slightly off does not enlongate the arm at all from what I can see.

Guy; If your forearm is always touching the pad when you dropped body some for a pull down , while Elbow could be slightly up but in the square of the pad still a foul? It should not be a foul as long as you have contact to the pad and your elbow in the circumference of the elbow pad.
Guy; How about elbow on the edge of the pad? If the tip of the elbow is with in the Circumference of the elbow pad and you have contact with your forearm it is not a foul
Guy; If the forearm is touching on a shoulder roll or side move attempt, it should not be a foul. Absolutely not a foul, if the tip of your elbow is in the circumference of the elbow pad and your forearm has contact!!
Don’t beat up the referees to bad, cameras can be deceiving, unless you have cameras like the NFL, what is perceived on camera is not always what is seen on the table.
Keep in mind that we the referees are looking for certain things when is come to elbow fouls and not all calls are made are 100% correct. To get fouled out four time it’s most likely not a bad call

I watched the Supers Match over and over and over and it looks like Marcio pulls his elbow off the pad first. It must be hard to ref cause everyone gets mad. But I watched it about 20 times just to make sure.....and to me it looks like Marcio needed a foul.
