Are any of you guys ever gonna settle your grudges at the Can ams or what? I know Guy has issued a challenge to all of you guys ( Chris Myers, Jim Bryan, Steve Carbone, etc...), so is it gonna happen or not?
Last time I spoke to Guy, he seemed pretty fired up about the whole thing. He was saying all kinds of crazy things about pulling all three of you guys in a best two out of three, one after the other and then going on to pull in the open class after he whacks all of you guys!!!
WOW!!!
What is it gonna be?

Pete, I just called Vegas and checked and the odds on Guy Lasorsa even pulling an open class at the Can-Ams AND THEY ARE 3,000,000 to one Every Year every big event or supermatch I hear about what Guy is gonna pull and how he will do. Every year I show up and look forward to pulling him and watching him. but somehow someway some temporary setback and he winds up pulling masters only or not at all. so like the little boy who cried wolf... i'm not biting I will be pulling the 198 right just like last year.............. if he enters there .............well.....he will get whacked because I intend to whack all that plan to keep me from a repeat win. other than 198 right or overalls I am not interested in any premeptive statements concerning the Can-Ams and me Myers-Lasorsa official record ;D Myers 1 Lasorsa 0 Christopher Myers

Chris no disrespect but Ill let you start in a hook half way to the pad and I believe you will be the one getting whacked.
And no I wont make 198.. But I would pull all of you one after the other and still pull my class.
like the little boy who cried wolf LOL Chris last fall I do believe I pulled the Open class and came in second to Eric Guevin. But then again maybe that was masters.

Guy, no disrespect taken ... none at all ... but seeing is believing... until I see ...I don't beleive. talk is cheap posting is even cheaper but make sure you understand if this if it is true .... great .... I would be excstatic for you .... sincerely.. I do not conspire to see you perform poorly or not compete at all... I also do not think you are incapable of what you are saying. But I do beleive either you are a choker or can not take pressure maybe because you consistantly do not pull at high stake events show me wrong I will be happy not unhappy
R you saying you can let me start halfway down in a hook and I cant pin you ? R you imying that you will stop me in a hook or that you could roll out of one...I am just curious..... humor me Christopher Myers

Chris, Fall Classic is Not Can Ams, so those results were useless. Rember I said my thumb was hanging off last march?
As I write this I have a cast on my thumb also, but it will be off for the Can Ams
A lot of times not entering these events, are I need to lose a few pounds which Im finally doing. a lot of personal problems , divorce, little ones , my thumb etc. But I hope to have a good run this year.
Humoring. I would like to try you half way down and see.

OK I know I'm over stepping my bounds but Chris just so you know I'm gonna try like hell from allowing you repeat your Can-Am title ;D... Actually this is going to be the first year for me to pull the heavier weight class so I'm not sure what to expect but hopefully all the training and coaching I've been doing and getting pay off ;D To all those that have helped me in every aspect of my training I want to say THANK YOU!!! without the help of each and everyone of my training partners I know I would not have improved as much as I have... In the words of the Great Klemba "you gotta constantly step it up in order to improve" Thanks Again all

Hey Pete, what about all your challenges? Are you showing? IT would be understandable if you didn't go, now that your wife just had another baby...You can field a baseball team!

ok Jim im not going to put up a lot of cash, not because Im afraid, or even want to apply my steroid to bigger cash bet principles, because i dont believe you are on any.
But I think putting up money is just a side note and too much money can get in the way of the real task and that is armwrestling and keeping it fun too.
So how much $50 Im ok with $100 I guess.
And before the tournament .

No I want any matches to be on saTURDAY same day pre event. Jim doesnt have any worries in the 220's at all this year. Sasso wont be there, Stilkey is 240 .
And Jim certainly wouldnt have to worry about an old washed up armwrestler like me who is only a masters puller afraid to pull the open class.

Guy, I've got a better idea. Since you think the 220's is an easy run, make up your mind and drop the weight. How close are you? Drop the weight and weight in on Friday. By Saturday you'll be back up to 230. This way we can fight it out during the show, and may the best man go on and take the overall!!!! I don't think I'll be able to pull before the tourney, cool down and then pull at my best. I definately need to be at my best no matter who shows up. Everyone in the 220's is dangerous regardless of their personal records. Guys have been training up north for months to get ready for this and I will not underestimate anyone. Sooner or later everybody has a break out year. I started mine a couple of years ago at Can Am too. Once I get to pulling I've gotta keep going. Once I get a long break, I normally can't get back into a groove again. Guy, you know I'll pull after the tourney for fun for free ;D ;D Now you've got me charged up, so I've gotta show up now. Mission accomplished ;D See ya up there Jim
