Just wondering if anyone follows UFC fighting or not? For those that dont know, the UFC 52 will be taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas the same Saturday as "The Pull at the Plaza" Tickets are 50-400 Dollars. The fight starts at 5pm, Does anyone know if they will have some matches before the main event. Just wondering what the odds of making it to see it are after the tournament? The Tournament starts at 11am I think, Anyone have a guess how long it will last? Just surveying my options. My main concern is armwrestling, but seeing the fight would be an extra bonus! If any one thinks they might be going let me know! see you all in Vegas! oh yeah, will the 176 class be filmed on Fox? If it is I will be eating rice cakes until then. If not Ill be eating whatever I can to be a healthy 198. Thanks Shane

Hey Shane, The Las Vegas event has gotten some major response and is expected to be huge. Last year we ran 6 tables, this year is 3 tables. Of course things can change from now until the event, I would expect the event to last a min of 12 hours, just my opinion. I believe fox will be filming all day and dialing in on the finals. Of course if all goes well the event will have some big bonus $$$$ games (raffles) which you must be present to win.

Shane we bought 7 tickets, and not one of them is for me or Nicki. If I were you I would not even worry about it. The prefights start at 4:00 Vegas time if I am not mistaken. The armwrestling tournament does not suppose to start until 11:00 am. Most of us know that tournaments never start exactly when they tell us. I do not see how in the world they are going to run all of the pro left, and right handed classes in 6 hours.

I have a buddy going to Vegas just to watch as he is recovering from Tommy John Surgery. He also is planning to go to that fight. I think he bought tickets already, about $400.00 for his seats. It should be a good fight as they hyped it up on UFC 51. I thought Gary Goodrich was gonna fight in the last one but backed out. Anyone know about that? Anyways Good Luck to all going to Vegas. It will be one to remember... ;D

Thanks for the info Bill, I look forward to meeting you. Yeah I figured It would be a stretch. As big as your tournament is going to be I dont want to miss any of it! Olin your right Bro, There is too much importance in this tournament to be worrying about trying to see a fight. Although it would be cool to see, Im going to armwrestle! Ill see the fight on TV! Hope to make it over before April! Tell the Team I said Whats up! Shane
