Hey Mr.Engin Terzi, How are You ? I just got back from Romania, and today on August 21, there was a regional armwrestling tournament in the middle of a mountainous region in Romania...But the secret was that there was a cash prize... 1 ST Place $ 300 2 $ 200 3 100
Oncescu was there to take home the cash....
But, can you guess who decided to show up at this Tournament ?
Your biggest adversary, Cvetan Gvasnevski, and another Bulgarian superstar Golemanov!!!
Cvetan Gvasnevski won his weight class easily without any danger...
Golemanov won the 85 kg class without any opposition...
But there was the open, where the winner of all the classes could compete against the others....
And Oncescu, the romanian champion wanted his rematch against Cvetan Gvasnevski !!!
So, What do you think Mr. Engin Terzi, did Oncescu have a chance to avenge his loss against the current European Champion ?

The Bulgarian is the World Champion and his name is Cvetan, he weights 75 kg or 170LBS.
He came in 1ST Place at the European Championships and Engin Terzi took 3Rd....
This is not a knock down on Engin !!! Just to point out that Cvetan is not a slouch...He is the real deal...He is extremely, extremely...tough!
Cvetan is probably the best in the world as he won the world championships in Canada.
Oncescu is the Romanian Absolute Champion at Open Division..He has never lost in Romania...He beat everyone in under one second....As you will see, he beats the World Champion in pretty dominant fashion !!!
Oncescu says his training technique is mountain climbing and he almost has no table time !!!
After the match is over, Oncescu tells Cvetan he will give him another chance and not to be upset !!!
Pretty arrongant coming from an unknown after he just beat the current defending world champion !!!
Engin what are your thoughts on this match, Cvetan the champion vs. Oncescu the unknown superstar ?

Engin, my point was that Cvetan is a top professional, world class armwrestler like you, and I tremendously respect your accomplishments and the quality of opponents you beat!!!
Just pointing out that even the best underestimate an unknown and and a world champion got beat by someone who is absolutely unknown in the armwrestling world, or in the USA at least....
Oncescu's first tournament outside Romania was in Bulgaria where he beat Cvetan the first match....
Here is what happened next.....Great few matches, but not in 4 seconds as you said Engin....
This is the second match where Oncescu felt confident that he could easily beat Cvetan, since he beat him the first time so easily...He gets cocky and gets beat with side pressure, but in a very hard fought match !!!
And the final and the 3Rd match of the day....Here Cvetan shows Oncescu why he is the world champion, and why he hard the heart of a lion as he comes back and wins a hard deserved victory....Oncescu can't believe that this guy just came back and beat him twice, after he had him maybe 2 inches away from the pad....If he wasn't showboating and just be a professional maybe the final results would be different !!!!
I am sorry if you took it the wrong way!!! I have been telling Chris Myers how great this Oncescu is and without any relative armwrestling experience and almost no table time....I have trained with him, about 3 years ago, and he felt unhuman...
The reason why I mention you Engin, is because Chris Myers and Mike Selearis know you are absolutely one of the best in your weight class, but I am sure they don't know the bulgarian, Cvetan, and to point out that you took 3Rd to him would only show how great Cveta really is!!! another sad thing was that i was the one that had to send 2 russians and a belarussian to the losers bracket and gashevski was sending the girls to the losers.i dont really know what your point was but you must get more experience and knowledge to not to be corrected.take care my friend
I love it how worked up you get Mr. Engin Terzi !!! That's not a very nice thing to say about your fellow competitors, that they are girls....I am sure they won't like it very much if they found out....

I just want to know how my name got dragged in to it ? I will wind up with Engin pissed at me and I am oblivious to the whole scenerio. If this is the match I saw on one of Engin's post he got screwed He slipped with hand control in nuetral position and got called loss Christopher Myers
If you can not beat my hand .... you better just save time and energy and report to the "B" bracket for reassignment to your next opponent

Sorry Engin, I have been away from my computer for about 8 days and could not respond to your replies...I am currently in Romania, relaxing and enjoying myself on the Black Sea, and that's why I have not replied to your comments...I now understand why you have felt discomfort when I mentioned your name, and that you came behind Cvetan, because you had a horrible call in your matches with him or at that particular competition....
My initial intention was to draw the attention of Chris Myers and Mike Selearis, my New York teammates....They know of you very well, and I just wanted to make a comparison, so they could realize just how great this bulgarian Cvetan really was....I had mention to them about Ion Oncescu when I returned to America in 2002, and they both told me that they don't think he could be that good, that they would have heard of him if he was that good and stuff like that....
They basicall both said that I suck, and that's why he seemed that good to me !!!
Well I know how much of great fear they have of you Mr. Engin, especially Mike Selearis, so I thought that by mentioning that you lost to Cvetan, and Oncescu beat Cvetan, they would see that this Oncescu is no joke, and that in fact he is for real, and that I don't suck that much, that he beat someone who is for real and legit....I hope that I have made my point very well understood... Thanks for not being too upset with me Engin...
I am hoping to have a few matches with Oncescu while I am here in Bucharest, even thou I know the results in advance...,
but maybe you Mr. Engin could swing by Romania, since you are not that far away, only water separates us....Just joking of course....
