Censorship over illegal issues shouldn't be implemented. When they become vulgar or obscene (such as Amedeo) then they should most definitely be censored because they cause hurt feelings and represent the board in a negative way.

I think that anyone who reads Todd Opitz's posts will also read the plenty of remarks that were made by several people on this board that discounted steroids, and recommended against using them. I think that anyone who reads these posts will also know that Todd is probably looking for a market by advertising himself as pro-steroids. But that choice has to be made by the individual, it can't be censored for them. We can do our best to encourage them otherwise.

People who really want to become somebody in the armwrestling world will have to make this choice some time in their lives. I believe that the most honorable armwrestlers will heed the advice of Engin, Malin, Chris Coletti, and James Retarides etc. and not the advice of people like Todd Optiz.

If the issue was never mentioned on this board then some of people who read this board would not have the opportunity to hear the advice given by these people. It is important to not censor discussion about steroids, but rather to make people educated about what it means to use them.

I agree with you Steven, but at the same time I disagree.

The replies that state how dangerous they are and how they've affected some people's lives are indeed helpful and make you not wanna take them

But at the same time, you have someone like Opitz, not only starting conversation about the Roids but celebrating them as if they are the heart of armwrestling

Good point Joey. That is disheartening to see this. I can only hope that people will read "world champion" under people like Steve Phipps, Guy Lasorsa and Engin Terzi's names and realize that they have done this with hard work and not a needle.

But once again, you have other post's out there but a certain person from NY that will harass Guy all the time, he doesn't respect what Guy has done and I think it's because this guy prolly pops the needle and can't get to where Guy was clean!!!!!!

i believe that we should let everyone to express their thoughts openly.only bad words shouldnt be writing on this board.we need to let ppl say what they want,so we can answer them to guide the newcomers into the right path.im sure that they will get to know about the steroids from somewhere else too.but its better for them to learn about it at this board,because im sure that most of the members will be good example for them.

my only problem with this topic is this: The feds have a few programs that monitor the internet. These things are set to pick up key words. When they do, then they are looked into. So, if you think its harmless, its not. Why would we want the attention of any body, guilty or not? How do I know this? because I have a friend who is in federal prision right now for this very same thing. I would distance myself, and this board, from anybody who is talking so freely about juice. I wouldnt doubt if they are being looked at allready if they are so blatent about it. Besides, I have been working my butt off for 15 years to get to a measly 220 lbs, it ticks me off when someone zooms by me in a year. We will see who looks better at 60, me, or a dead them:)

My feelings are that if you see something that may offend you, then look the other way. My opinion is just that, mine. Though many people cannot look the other way all the time, you ALWAYS have a choice.
You either look at it or you don't.

I see nothing wrong with talking about steroids, as they are a debatable issue in our sport.

However, if I feel that someone is BLATANTLY trying to market or sell steriods on our board, they will be at risk of immediate deletion.

Take that as a warning...

Thank you, If you read my post, I wrote I what stated to discuss, and ask questions, not to promote, or sell, or give advice , just peoples opinions, and being honest, I did not start any crap these are the other people on the board, for everyone read my statement over again, i said no arguing or dumb comments
