I just spoke to a gentleman from Fort Smith Arkansas who says there are no tournaments in his area and that he is putting one on on Friday April 29th.
I am building him two tables, He has the biggest radio station involved in the area. KISSER 93.7
He is offerring 500 for first in two or three weight classes. (he is sending me a flyer and I will get it to Kurt if he agrees).
It is a non-sanctioned event at a large ampitheater with seating for 1100.
He has never done this before.
He needs refs etc. Anyone in that area that he can ask for help???
He is on the Oklahoma boarder

Ron,
Michael puts on a ton of tournaments. Who is this guy? Where are from Arkansas and I am sure that we could help him. How were you contacted by him?

His name is James Mckinney and he lives in Fort Smith near the OK boarder.
His reason for contacting me is to acquire two tables for his competition.
I agreed to reach out and attempt to put him in contact with a couple of people that can help him understand what he is in for.

Hello,
My name is James McKinney and I am hosting the McKinney's Power Sport Armwrestling Competition in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Competition is Friday, April 29, 2005. It will be held outside at the Fort Smith Riverfront Amphitheater. I have seating for 1200 people. We will have concession, live band, women's tourney for prizes, DJ and a bounce around for the kids. $20 to compete in the men's competition, $5 for spectators. Kids 10 and under free. Two weight classes 0-175 & 176 & up. Weigh ins and registrations are from 3:00 to 4:45p.m. Competition starts at 5:00p.m. sharp! $500 pot 1st place for each weight class. The competition will be covered live by the most prominant radio station in this area KISR 93.7
Coverage for KISR is 150mile radius. There will also be some live coverage by the local news station Channel 5. This will be an all day family event.
This is the first tournament ever to be held in Fort Smith. This is my first time putting on a large event. I would like help with reffing from experienced pullers. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Feel free to call or email me.
