Hey guys and gals, I know some of you have been watching the new reality show"Contender" with Sly Stallone and was just curious about what you guys would think of a new Over the Top type movie about armwrestling?
I think it would be awesome if Sly would consider it.
Maybe Cobra or Dave Devoto could put a bug in someones ear about it.
What do you guys thiand gals think?

Michael "Animal" Griffin That would be great, but it is highly unlikely. Over the Top did very poorly at the box office, even during a high point of Sly's career. Right now, Sly is trying to get Rocky VI made, and with Sony buying out MGM, there is a chance it could happen. There is even a preview of the Rocky VI script in the new SLY magazine. On top of that, Sly recently said he may start filming Rambo IV in September. Yes, I know, could be a rumor though. Our best bet at an armwrestling movie is already in the works: Pulling John. |

Yes I agree with Kurt. But I think an armwrestling reality series would be a great show with the right people involved.

But I think an armwrestling reality series would be a great show with the right people involved. Exactly! That is what this sport needs, a more personal approach then just 'nameless' guys armwrestling for 5-10 seconds. |

as far as Over the top not being a box office hit........that movie has been played numerous times on TBS while i was growing up. More than rambo......i think glad to know that engin  ........im being hunted |
