Most of you people that are on this board know me peronally, and also know that I am a really nice guy and an extremely easy person to get along with. You females are getting wayyyy too bent out of shape over some of the things being said on here. If what little bit I said offended you all then, I apologize but for God sake instead of getting all pissy and acting as though we are criminals send me a PM next time. No actually wait................ there won't be a next time, because I realize we have a bunch of people that can't handle any joking around here.
Sorry ladies you won't hear me making any more remarks..............

Olin you need to look at this through more mature eyes man. the hottest male/female puller thread was not disrespectfull to anyone. LOTS of sports have that. Hell, ESPN does a freakign show about it. However they DO NOT have shows about who has the nicest A$$ and they do not have a show in which the likes of Venis Williams or Anneka Sorensten(sp?) have a wet t shirt contest. Joking is one thing. Taking the jokes to a sexual level on a public armsport message board for the world to see is another story. Now Olin I MYSELF have heard you upset about the way people make the sport of armwrestling look. How is this different? it isnt any different at all. if it was a topic that was making the men of this sport look bad as a whole you would be pissed about it. I've seen you get pissed about it in the past. I think we are beyond mere jokes and kidding here man. There are many women pullers that are offended by the things that are said. Anyone who knows me knows that I am FAR from someone who tries to be PC. I dont give a damn about PC. I so however care when people that I know and like are being offended and made to look part of a general group.

Olin,
Let me start by saying you are a great guy - a great armwrestler ..
We as women only get frustrated when a post goes up about our side of the sport - to promote and stimulate interest - and there is ALWAYS someone coming on adding in about something sexual. How is anyone going to take the women seriously if our male counterparts don't take us seriously? Women will get fed up and quit - why bother... right? And that is ultimately taking one step forward and three steps back.
Sexiest male / female -- nothing wrong there -- but once again there are several people that cross that line in the sand and take a seeminly innocent fun post and it turns south really quickly...
Olin -- I know you were kidding - truly I do.. But at the same time -- something had to be said.. Just like Plaster said -- I have also seen and heard you guys get way more bent out of shape for things that were about other stuff regarding arm wrestling. why is this any different?
Please -- know that this is by no means directed to you on a personal level --
We would much rather be known for our abilities on the table than how we look in a thong and wet T shirt.. ya know.. I hope that you can understand and we can get through this gracefully on the other side.
Nic

I am a freakin adult and do not need to be lectured by anyone. I never thought the comment I made would raise so much drama. If I would have seen this much B.S. coming, then I would have never said it. All of us have made comments way more extreme and rash than that. The remark to Harry about hottest male/ female was only a joke in defense for myself, and I made that clear to him. Drop it like it's hot, fuggidaboudit, crucify me, whatever the deal is, it's done, over with, and I will not make the mistake of saying anything else on here. Ladies I hope you accept my apology.

Hi there Olin!
I didn´t find what you said offended, not towards me. But I guess when the "ass" - topic came up, about me and Valerie, there where TOO MUCH. So when you said about thongs and wet t-shirts it was just the last drop that made the glas run over. (do you say that in English too?).
But I have also seen you guys joke about each other in a sex-related way. I also jokes about you men and your asses, bodies, looks and so on.
I understand that people get upset. And I think that I did even MORE then you did that didn´t put my foot down when the topic came up about mine and Valeries ass. Maybe I should have done that, but I didn´t, since I felt that it was on fun and I knew that it wasn´t meant in a bad way.
But I regret that now, since there are in fact others that are looking at this side and read what have been said and what jokes we have about us woman (but also about the men), and I played along with the "fun" game, but I shouldn´t have done that. ´Cause as people have said, this is not a "privat" message board where only we can see what we have been writing it´s for the media to look at and so on.
I am ONE OF THEM you should blame for making us girls/females look like "bimbos". I am a woman myself and should have been thinking more. I´m sorry for that.
But don´t blame yourself Olin, ´cause this is about MUCH MORE then you wrote.
Now I´m going to Switzerland in a few hours. Are gonna try to sleep first. Wish me luck all, it´s "the gladiators night" Pascal Girards competition I will go to.

Olin, I like to apologize if any my comments were seen as attack on you, You were just trying to be funny and i don't think , you should be attacked for that,. Most women do have sense of humor, but it just brings up bigger issues, of our respect as competitors but more importantly the future. People want this sport to grow, so ideas have been thrown out to make it more interesting. I just hope as a group we don't lose sight of the pureness and integrity of the sport in order to sell to the media or general public. I just think it would be a shame if men had to be ultra cocky and give a " show" and the women have to be sexy to get any air time, people shouldn't change who they are to fit the mold of the media to get sport noticed. Just my opinion, so please don't stop talking to us , I would like to hear your views as well. Cindy
