Edwin,i really hope that one day when you are ready,we get to pull.
Harry,its a great idea to have belts for champions but you cant consider them as world champions.you can only deceive ppl who doesnt know what takes to be a world champion.

yes maybe WAF starts to make belts for the winners.or every promoter will make a world champ belt and we will have so many fake world champ around.

I think that would be pretty kool to have a belt or something. But money has got to be involved i think. Because if i were to win a belt and i had to defend it in new york i would need alot of money to get there. Otherwise i dont think it would be right for that person to have to forfeit or made to look like a coward because he couldnt afford it.
Regardless what happens here tournaments should always continue.

Look Harry, I applaud your effort to make a change in the "supermatch" format, because I think it is Mickey-Mouse gambling rather than professional sporting event. But belt are kind of cliche don't you think ?

Thats what i say. It almost seems cheesy to me. But then again wrestlers, boxers, UFC they al have belts. What could be an alternative? a cup? a medal? how about straps? ;D  A table top would be too big. a belt might work  I guess the reason it seems cheesy is cause it hasnt really been established as a goal yet. |

I love the idea of belt titles!!! It is already being done by Igor Mazurenko but he doesn't seen to cater for all weight classes. If this was to be done it would have to cater for all. This could help the sport be on television more!
I remember the super match with Travis and Alexi and there was so much hype and this could be generated for other super matches like this.

I understand what Engin is saying about there being lots of fake World champs! Also i believe like Ryan there should be money involved...Travis vs Alexi...they had all expenses payed travel, food, board etc and they got payed even if they lost. This should be the case for all big super matches but the BELT idea is definately an excellent one!!!!!
