Hi Harry
I do not have the simple answer to your question. All I can say is at one time there was one WAF. Now there are two froms of it. I am not sure who is the real one anymore.
Soon there may be one WAF again in Japan.
As you know in the US there are two main groups AAA in the East primarily and USAA that are in the West. Both put on great events with high level of competition.
In Canada we had a similar arrangement of two primary groups. In 1994 one voluntarily disolved themselves for the betterment of the sport to allow for only one National Championship.
Perhaps US and other countries will adopth that concept to have one qualifier for the WAF Worlds.
I hope that does not make it more confusing.
Just some thoughts.
Bye the way are you going to Vegas?
Cheers
Aaron

AAA sends their National qualifing Athletes to the World Armsport Federation Worlds. Unifieds (U.S. ) sends their National qualifing Athletes to the World Armwrestling Federation Worlds.
As far rules go, anyone can go to any of these organizations websites to view them.

In the US there are two associations, the USA and the AAA. Both associations run Nationals to qualify pullers to compete at the World Championship. There are still 2 WAF's. W Armwrestling F & W Armsport F. The two are supposed to unify this year in Japan. I see that the W Armsport F is also planning on holding their version of the World Championship in Japan this year. We will have to wait and see what happens.
