I knew you were lying sack of crap.... just playing Olin, I have been expecting you to pull 154 from the moment they set the weights and I never thought for a second you were not going to, this is going to be a good time.

Simon at first I thought I was going to go completely insane, but after about 3 week everything started to pan out and become a lifestyle change that I had to accept. I will no longer eat at places like McDonalds, Burker King, etc. I only eat at places where I can get my food steamed instead of fried. I have knocked out almost all carbonated drinks except for some beer on the weekends, and the only beer I have drank since I started my diet is Michelob Ultra. So for the most part I have changed my entire lifestyle in the way I eat and train now.

LOL I hear ya Chris!!!!! Once your body readjusts to the new lifestyle, you look back and say, "Damn I just feel so much better than before, and look it too." I've done some research on the New Orleans Saints football team. They have one of the lightest defensive lines in the entire NFL, but they are ranked as one of the most dangerous and quickest. The reason being, is that the more stored fat your body has on it, the slower your body becomes. The extra weight in fat tends to slow down joint movement; therefore, the more lean you are, you are obviously stronger with more explosive energy, agile, and quicker off of the line. If you all think about it, the same concept applies in armwrestling. You see many of our smaller/leaner guys with astounding strength and quickness. I am not saying that our heavy guys are not strong or quick at all. Just something to think about.
Take care

Olin again an impressive show of discipline, damn good for you for making it happen. Now my current diet consists of one meal a day, at noon a triple cheeseburger combo from Wendy’s, this is as opposed to my usual regimen when not weeks away from an event of a Carl's breakfast burger combo in the morning, a triple cheese combo or a double Carl's $6 burger combo, whatever my wife makes for dinner plus chocolate milk made with half and half and Oreo’s in Coolwhip or brownies and maybe ice cream before bed. Here in lies the necessity of each person to learn their own body in order to develop what is right for them, from over 2 decades of abusing my body I have found more success in this sport by really feeding my body, fat is important for power stamina and it eases the duress of the joints and muscles, I functioned a lot like you back when I was staying smaller, when I fought and played football I used the same philosophy you are discussing for the same reasons. At some point I hope to get to become a very lean very built 154 at that time I will have to decide how long I function as such until I have to go up again.

At first I said this was going to be easy. But, then I found out how much carbs were in everything and it made me sick. I immediately quit all carbonated drinks. Nothing but water for me. At first I felt great. Then I started to feel like crap most days, im on tons of meds now...oh well, maybe it will get better! Your neighbor..LOL Chrislyn

I still take in moderate carbs, but I just take them in better forms of foods suchas broccoli, carrots, lettuce, etc. I try to drink as much water as possible, but I mainly drink lemonade, tea, etc.

I think these three and Simon will be the final four. I really really wish I could be there I'd just be a stepping stone though. My arm is nowhere near ready at this time. But its getting closer thank God! I think with Olin dropping into this class it made it the best class in vegas. I'm a "little" biased.. But it is great to see the 54's having most of the attention I wish all of ya luck. Wish I could be there! J

I am most certain you will make your presence known bro. And the bike is put up for a bit which makes me all arm for awhile. I was very dissapointed in my showing at the WWC and chose to put everythign else on the back burner after that. So hopefully soon I will be back to form and seeing all of you guys on the tables. Till then, give em a hell of a show J

lol you might just could do that.!! HA.. I have always pulled 143 and 154. I will pull one more at 154. Then I plan on pulling either the 187/189 class or maybe even 198/209 classes. I was once about 185 and very solid. before I started armwrestling. I would like to get back to that weight after my next event. I can gain pretty easy too which is weird because i also trim up very very easy. Its nothing for me to make 138 154 etc.. Maybe a year and a half before i get where I want in weight. I am sure I will pull several different classes till then. 176's will be home for a little while I imagine. On a serious note, I do really wish I could be in Vegas with all you guys. Not just to pull, but to be a part of what you're doing. The biggest event in the world currently, and maybe even ever. If it has a rival it would have to be the Over the Top event and nothing more to my knowledge anyway. It's upsetting that I cant be there. lol Allen when is your next one?
