I emailed Sevan about two weeks ago and got a reply that did not seem too promising. I was just curious if anyone knew what phase of production the movie is in. Perhaps if Travis or Bessie are reading this they can either respond or send me an email. (ctarmwrestler@yahoo.com). While features on Espn and new armwrestling organizations are promising and on the horizon this is a venture that many armwrestlers were and (are still), looking forward to. Initially the thesis of the film was to follow the sport for one year. They started in the summer of 2003 and the summer of 2005 is almost upon us. If they are in fact planning on filming still that would surely make for more great content now the sport seems to be burgeoning on the prospects of more exposure and the greatest tournament in at least 20 years is set to take place next week.

Well we all have heard things and the only ones to know would be Sevan and Bessie, Perhaps John may be able to let us know. We are all hoping to see it soon.

Garrett, they wont be filming? Is Sevan going? Is it because Video cameras are not allowed due to Fox filming?

The Pulling John movie is very promising and is going to be an ass kicking movie, Las Vegas is going to be one of the best events on this earth, but they will not be filming any footage in Vegas. If they go it’s won’t be for the movie

ARM TV is the only one covering the event in Vegas besides Fox. It is only going to be a one hour show, ARM TV will be covering the rest of the event.
As far as Pulling John goes....my two cents...
it is pure economics (my guess)
fact- exposure is increasing in the sport of armwrestling
- with the heightened exposure of the sport...chances of a theatrical release increase
- more exposure....generally equals more box office
extrapolating from that...they are concentrating on more exposure projects first
it seems to make sense...
Just my two cents but I could be totally wrong
