thank god for pirated satelite. Its awseome armwrestling is getting exposure like this. At my gym people are always telling me they see it on ESPN or TSN(Canadian version of espn). People never tell my Travis' name but they always talk about some guy thats causing a debacle after he wins, so i know their talking about Travis and all I say is, Know why he does it? Because he can.

Oh Travis. I don't know if you are just jealous or kissing ass. If I am just slightly better then average  .That doesn't say a whole lot for the rest of the armwrestling world. The talent might be slightly above but power and desire is off the meter. Take care see you this weekend, and be thankful I don't jump.  ;D |

Yeah, I had to stick up for Travis also. A few guys thought he was a total jerk but I cleared things up... Travis, you can forget about winning that poker tournament. I have more experience! |

Thanks to all the promoters out there who give their time and money for us to compete. Travis who has ever produced a Armwrestling Show that didnt give a #$#$? of course Sevan and Bessie love the sport and did an awesome job, but that is also because they are dedicated to their work. Espn coverage is highly rated due to First of all..the sport, the Event promoters, and then the individuals that highlight this sport well (You) Stallone did as much as any by doing the movie, over the top, but John Brzenk has been the sports Greatest asset and continues to be now. This sport has a following and even if a PRODUCER did a show for ESPN, but didnt love our sport, but got paid well to do a job, the sport would still be a HIT on ESPN.. Thanks to the Ladies who will soon be getting some much needed Publicity on the Airwaves, Thanks Joyce, Elaine, Nicole ect.. Ect... Vegas show is coming and Dave and John and all involved, we are excited!!! Sincerely Sol

A bow down to Dave for taking that initial step with ESPN it has been rewarding for everyone, armwrestlers, producers & promoters, everybody is benefiting from the ESPN show, thank you Dave!. .
I have to remind myself that this was produced by our very own armwrestling friends Sevan and Bessie, not a full blown multi-million dollar equipped staff, but a two person budgeted team. The integrity of the show is a class of its own, and the ratings and re-running speak for it self. It will have a total air time of 42 +, that’s off the hook; the show is rated with the strong man competition.
You seen ESPN, you seen other armwreslting shows’ how do you compare?? It takes passionate knowledge, dedication and most of all how to capture the action behind the camera.
I’m sure they’ll be in Vegas “not filming” but visiting with all of the armwrestling crowd, let them know if you liked the show.
I’d have to agree with Travis on item #1 100%, and 50% on item #2.
Hats off to John and Dave for the Pull at the Plaza, glad to be part of your staff!

I'm ALWAYS recognized!!! Seriously though YES! ALL THE TIME.BUT unfortunately, I do have a unique look to my face.. Go ahead everybody jump on! But being recognized for the ESPN thing helps me tell people about the sport who know nothing about armwrestling. Word of mouth IS very effective...Since telling people, who never saw the show,once they have seen it, they LOVE IT! |
