If Luke Reimer chose to I think he would be a very good choice at 85KG. I think he is normally 90KG but he is not a big 90KG so it should not be hard for him to make that weight. He is ranked 2nd right and 3rd left in N.A. right now. With RVJ being over 90KG (I think) that should put him at the number 1 spot right handed. Vasgen is no doubt, truly Ferrous Dick AGREED ;D BUT WHILST THE G.O.A.T. BATH, BAGENT, TODD & THE LIMITLESS are all truly North American.................. Sorry Guys, Vasgen like Marcio is unavailable as a U.S. pick Cheers Neil I understand Marcio being unavailable...however Vazgen has been one of-if not the strongest puller for TEAM U.S.A. at Worlds for the past few years...so... is he basically a man with no country at your events... hmmmmm... or maybe....the fear that N.A. will asseble such a badass team the rest of the world will have NO chance has ya lookin for reasons to make pullers "UNAVAILABLE" ;D ;D ohhhhhhh I am on to you Neil!! ;D ;D

I was wondering about Lupkes, I've never seen him pull left. He pulled left handed in Deadwood, South Dakota, in 2008, and got flashed by Sonny Larson, and I believe somebody else also beat him and he took 3rd. But he easily beat everybody and won the overall right handed.

I don't fear the U.S. Team mostly because I have nothing to gain or lose regardless of their potential BADASSABILITY plus I don't scare easy unless ya mention Babies ;D ;D ;D Vasgen has a Country but its Armenia I believe he was winning Europeans & making Big waves at Worlds way before he began representing the U.S. Same situation as Marcio really. Remember mate, I WANT THE EVENT TO BE MENTALLY DISTURBING and to be honest unless the U.S. brought their very best then the Eastern European Team would be a daunting propsect. If ANY of the four teams ran through the other it would be less exciting for people to watch however I don't believe that over various weight classes that will be the case. We will see I guess Cheers Neil

I would love to see Luke Reimer, but Luke actually did his best pulling at a heavier bodyweight. He beat John Brzenk left handed when luke was weighing 110Kg if I remember correctly. By Luke's admission it was very difficult to maintain that kind of weight because it's not his body's natural weight. (Was that Calgary Stampede?)
I have only seen Luke pull 198's one time personally and that was at Petaluma a few years back. He pulled 100kg in Finland. Losing the size to make 198 was tough on Luke. At 110kg I think he'd have won Petaluma left handed.
Luke is one of my favorite armwrestlers ever, and I consider him a great friend although I don't get to see him often enough. Luke is a good man and I can't speak highly enough of him.

Luke actually beat John once right handed which seemed to shock John, I don't think he new who Luke was and he put a stop to it in the final and Luke slapped John twice Left handed.

The most exiciting pullers to watch in the U.S. in my opinion have to be Selearis, Nelson, Bagent....Tremendous skill to go with their "different" personalities.
