The two of you represented the world of arm-wrestling with class and professionalism . Great job to the two of you ! I would also like to thank Fox Sports for providing great coverage of the tourney. Why didn't Fox show more of the ladies matches ? We are at a major cross road right now with this sport. Being on the two biggest sports networks on the planet, looks like we are finally getting the recognition that we so very much deserve. Next step , getting into the Olympics ! P.S. Sorry Travis , there's no way you are or even were stronger than me !

Just watched the show. The commentating was awesome. I loved it. It is only the beginning ladies and gentleman.
Matt- When they are cutting the show, they try to find as many ways to build the drama as possible. In order to do this you have to focus on stories and there is only room for soo many stories.
To give you an example, to truly do the finals complete justice for all of the great pulling that goes on...you would have to have a twelve hour marathon. Maybe someday that could happen but until then this is a great next step.
Stepping stones.

Matt, I don’t know if you noticed but 1 hour goes by very fast. There were a lot of great matches, as Gary put it, which were left on the cutting room floor. It’s amazing how difficult it is to squeeze just a few finals into an hour show when they start adding commercials….I think they did a great job with their time and it even seemed a little rushed at times.
Secondly think how much more live footage would be missing if candid thoughts were intertwined from a few of the competitors before and after some of the matches. (Which by the way I think is a very proven successful ingredient that was missing from this show) But still this is a trade off with the allotted time.
How do you produce an entertaining show with this many classes even with just the final four in each class … we all know showing match after match just doesn’t work.
One thing is for sure 1000 % better than last years show.
Kudos FOX.

John and Gary and Matt's "it's still my House" Girdner. I think with out a doubt this was a great showing for us all. I really like the way fox did this, the commentators and everybody just seemed to be excited and made the audience feel like..Armwrestling really is the most Intense competiton in sports..Period! You all represented the sport great. I know there are many things also in the works for our sport and i am excited to be part of it. Looking forward to seeing you all again, sincerely Sol

Great job to everyone! Very entertaining ! But I do know that many of those heavyweights are more than 260 lbs! It would be even more impressive to the general public if they listed them at their true weight. August is 300, Christian is very close to that, etc. We hear talk about how impressive 300 lb football players are, just think about guys talking about the armwrestling show they saw last night, with 198lb John going against 300 pounders! ;D
