::)Tell me something...which ref can anyone honestly say has never made a mistake, never missed a call, never missed a foul, never called a foul wrong...etc...etc...etc....It is pretty sad when people attack the refs and their conduct and comments on this board rather than talking to them directly. I know two refs who are great refs and backing out of the reffing because of this bulls$#@t on the board and at the tournys. This keeps up and we are going to lose more great qualified refs and be left with refs who get intimidated into calling calls rather than the proper job. Is that really what we want? I have had my fair share of bad calls at little tournys and big ones...and I have seen my share of calls made wrong...Like someone else quoted on here( sorry I don't remember who) Our refs are humans and we has humans make mistakes and this sport isn't the only sport this is happening in. Give our refs the credit and pat on the backs when they do a great job. And if you have a problem, talk to them directly, pm them or email them. I would love to see some of the armwreslters accually reffing some of those matches in Vegas and doing an A+ job with no mistakes or nothing missed. Sorry guys but really.

Tamara, I have to agree with you! I cannot understand that just days following one of the best events, all the crap starts rising to the top! Sure, there are differences of opinion on how certain matches were reffed, etc.... but what I see is alot of unnecessary b i t c h i n g going on publicly! We have an announcement from John Burgeson that this event is already on for next year and only ONE comment regarding it??? Lost in a sea of negative posts about the reffing or whatever else... If I were John and saw this going on, I would have a hard time NOT just going ahead and saying "forget it, if this is the way you're going to be about it!"... you ungrateful children. There is some CONSTRUCTIVE talk going on right now about certain aspects of set ups, etc... and that's all good. It's just good dialogue. Not sure if it will make any difference, but it does bring to light different viewpoints and ideas. I don't know Tamara, maybe because we're females, we come at it from a different viewpoint... but settling the catfights with a pm would be much better than on a public forum for everyone else's entertainment. just my 2 cents...

Tamara, I have to admit I have never made a mistake period, no matter what it is. j/k
Come on people ease up on the refs a little bit, this is just ridiculous.
My thoughts,

I think at the next tournament we should round all the refs together. Throw them into a big pit. And stone them …every last one of them.
Oh….except for Leonard …hate to loose a good employee.
;D

No one deserves to be treated the way the refs were in Vegas... not by everyone of course... you know who you are. I wasn't there... but I did see a small amount of it on ARM TV. I even spoke to Leonard on the phone about it after we were through talking about something else unrelated... and he seemed pretty upset about what transpired in Vegas... and with good reason. I personally hate reffing because I can't seem to get through a tournament without someone being angry at me for something. Its the toughest job at any tournament. A possible solution... stop being so gun shy on giving out unsportsmanlike conduct fouls. Give them out for any disrespect towards a ref. Of course that won't solve any issues on the board but it would definitely keep the stress level of the refs lower if the pullers were more under control... hence less missed calls perhaps? Just my two cents.
