A few of you have sent me PMs asking about the NY Golden Arms Series. Here is the info for the first event held on Staten Island:

Saturday, June 18, 2005.
The City of New York Parks and Recreation and New York Armwrestling have joined forces to kick off the White Castle New York Golden Arm Series by presenting the White Castle SI Borough Arm Wrestling Championships.
The event will be held at South Beach Boardwalk’s main stage on Father Capodanno Blvd at Sand Lane, South Beach, Staten Island, NY. (Only five minutes from the Verrazano Narrows Bridge). Weigh-in and registration begins at 10AM and start time is 12:30 PM.
14 Amateur Weight Classes There are various right and left hand weight and age classes for men including a 45+ and 60+ years old and three weight classes for women
Men Pro Classes 175 lb. & under Right and Left Hand
'OPEN' Right & Left Han
5 pound Clothing allowance
Entry Fees are $10 for NYAWA members and $15 for non-members. Contestants under age 18 must have a parent or guardian signed approval. Admission is free
Awards for 1, 2 & 3 Place
