I have one, so start screaming! Not for sale though. Here's a link to the pic. www.davidhorne-gripmaster.com/davidhornesgrippercollection.htmlI got it from strength historian Joe Roark, who got it from Jubinville. JUBINVILLE (Ed) (Pictured left) Roark inscribed on the handle. Joe told me that “ Ed wanted to have a gripper made that would be slightly harder than the Iron Mind #3, and he was confident that the product he achieved accomplished that goal. It also seems he told me he had a batch of 100 of them made”. Ed gave this gripper to Joe, and Joe has given it to me.

Thats great David.!!!! Joe Roark's Iron history is my favorite site on the net. If you are into strength training history, Equipment, Records Etc.. Iron history is the place. I have the some of the old Iron man mag grippers (Body Culture). made by Warren Tetting , and an orig. Tetting version Titan telegragh from the 1960's (Slightly different from Iromnind). The Jubinville gripper has escaped me so far.. Jim

what dates where the Jubinville gripper made? I have a old gripper that looks likes the picture David has posted that was painted all black when I got it. No markings. Was advertised as being the strongest gripper at the time ie harder than the iron mind #3. Don't remember who I bought it from.

James, Yes I like Roark's Iron History site, and have a look daily.
I have 6 x Iron Man grippers from the 60/70s as you can see in that link too. Three are non-knurled and the hardest is very touggh to close.
Steve, I would say the Jubinville gripper would be produced 70/80s period.
