You should have known better than to try and get any kind of positive feedback from the other board.
I logged on there today and saw how you were instantly bashed for asking a simple question.
Maybe now you will know better next time.

Well guys -- I will tell it to you like this...
If I let every negative thing that was ever said to me drive me down -- I would have jumped off a cliff a long time ago.
Keep positive and keep moving forward and upward. I just know that I am going to keep training as I have --ALOT to learn and am the first one to admit that.
On a good note though and think that I will share with you all now.. ESPN News Magazine has been doing a story about female armsports and has been with me at a couple of tournaments and here to my hometown. We are excited that the story should run in September. The photographer will be here Wednesday and Thursday to finish up... This will give us more exposure and show the public what we are all about .. BTW the columnist contacted Karen and Frank and they are the ones that directed them to me -- and for that I am very thank - ful....

Congrats Nicole!!!
Hopefully the article will open the eyes of the general public and the sponsors that armwrestling has evolved from the "typical bar sport" that so many people still have stuck in their head...
I applaud anyone who can help shine a bright light on our sport... Way to go Nicole!!!
Your Brother in Arms!!!

Hey guys -- Thanks for the support.. I know that the article is going to run in September -- The mag I beleive is a semi weekly publication -- so when Jeff gives me the exact date -- I will then pass it on. The photographer is meeting me at practice tomorrow and then wants "real life" pics at work, at home etc (yea The reporter was really cool -- much like Sevan and Bessie -- once he went to a tournament he was hooked. Really got in and talked to alot of people. Travis offered him a full page (or 3 or 4) spread. LOL He said that the angle was showing the new face of armsports and in my situation how ladies can be "ladies" yet be serious competitors on the table -- contrary to public views that female arm wrestlers are "beastly" --NOT! it should prove to be interesting. One thing that has come of this -- and something some my take and run with. AS a result of this a couple of boxing promoters have contacted me wanting to promote us.. Now we need promo tapes, pics and the whole nine yards -- and well -- ya just never know!!! Once again Thanks for the love and support. Keep positive and keep pullin, Nicole Cisco

Hey Nicole, It is just little o' me from Georgia. I don't think they could have picked a better person to represent the Ladies of Armwrestling. You are truly someone I look up to, on and off the table. You have always been answered my questions and helped me through a couple of tough matches. CONGRATULATIONS on ESPN.
Thank You, April Coe
