Never saw him on WWF..... He never was there. He was at AWA in the beginning, then WCW, then New Japan.. I remember seeing him on WCW in the 90's. Looked like a real bad dude.

I know this is ten years too late, but an interesting fact about Scott Norton, he grew up in Minnesota with some other very big men who went on to become pro wrestlers, the Road Warriors, Barry Darsow, Nikita Koloff and Rick Rude. Rude was a state armwrestling champion at one point, and of them all, the smallest of the group (at 'only' 250lbs). Darsow, Laurinaitis and Hegstrand (the Road Warriors) were all 550+ benchers, with Laurinaitis, Norton, and Darsow all topping 600. Joe "Road Warrior Animal" Laurinaitis said that Scott Norton was unbelievably fast for his size, doing I think a 4:40 mile. Norton was best known in WCW and Japan. In fact, he was once reprimanded and forbidden from wrestling on a tour in North Korea after complaining about the place to his wife on a bugged phone.

By the way, Cleve Dean took first and Johnny Walker took second that day. Yes they both beat Scott.
