Hey anyone know who the guy who beats Cleve Dean is? He is a BIG guy with light Reddish hair. He is in the movie, I just thought he was an extra. Over the top video on Arm-tv.

Wow! like I said I thought he was just an "extra" in the movie. Does anyone know any history on this guy? Titles etc.? Well he won the superheavys at the Over the Top,4 national titles, and had a few wins over Brzenk. Stopped pulling in the late 80's to wrestle and did that for ove 20 years. He was 6'3'' 330 pounds when he won his class at the Over the Top.Heres a pic of Norton,Zumwalt, and Shadduck. Attachments:

Scott Norton is 2-0 with John Brzenk but turned to WWE in the late 80's.
From Ask John Brzenk Page 2 "I have pulled Scott in two tournaments. Both were over 15 years ago. Once in a Super Heavyweight tournament in Minneapolis and the other at a Reno Sands tournament. Both times he beat me. He is one of the few armwrestlers that quit the sport before I could get even. Strong? Yes, very strong...I don't recall what he could bench but I know it was a lot. He was extremely good at a shoulder roll. Pressing move. His hands were thick and powerful, but he didn't try to control the match with his hands. He would rather get you wrist to wrist and press through you with those tremendous triceps."
Page 3 "I can remember pulling Scott twice when it counted (that is during a tournament). He beat me both times. The first time we pulled was during a Super Heavyweight class only match in Minnesota. I am guessing it was around 1983 or 1984 he was my first match of the day, and he beat me very quickly. Funny thing though the way the draw turned out I took third and he took forth... no justice I guess. By the way, Cleve Dean took first and Johnny Walker took second that day. Yes they both beat Scott. The second time I wrestled him was about a year later in Reno I pulled three classes and weighed about 185 at the time. I gave him a much better match I held on for a while trying to top roll. We then slipped grips I decided I would try and surprise him by hooking ...he then planted my arm into the table! I have pulled with Scott on occasion after that just pulling around and YES he was extremely powerful. Lots of triceps power. So I could imagine he could bench a tremendous amount of weight. I don't know much about his quest for the record in the bench press nor do I know much about his armwrestling record. He was around for a couple short years in the mid 80's then retired to pursue WWF wrestling."
