Has anyone been in one of the tournaments there? It's the "Buck Bucklin Memorial Arm Wrestling Tournament" and it's been held for years, at Pioneer Days in mid-October. I'm curious how big it is, how many weight classes, that kind of thing.

There's precious little. I remember in past years there was a flyer online; right now there are just paragraphs in the Chamber of Commerce's calendar. Google "twentynine palms" "arm wrestling" and you'll know as much as I do at this point. I've emailed the COC, and I'll post whatever I get from them.
It may be an "interesting" tournament since Twentynine Palms hosts (they say) the world's largest Marine base.
