Armwrestling is a cult sport, which primarily involves going Over the Top and not getting stuck for too long in the losing position, unless you are A) Crazy George or B) Michael Todd.
I say grip, pull, and pin with the exception of squaring the shoulders. This is an irrelevant procedure that gives adantage to those fast twitch skinnies who don't have to become completely uncomfortable to make it simply appear that their shoulders are square. Broke arm position? whatever, I feel more likely to be injured when I have to square up and push my shoulders together to get an extremely uncomfortable start. Yes, some of us have LARGE shoulders, they come with muscular devlopment occasionally. I always feel like a big stiff cookie when I start. As far as wrapping legs around the table, and jump kick starts off the table, that's just bullsh*t. I think someone is a lot more likely to get hurt when someone gets "hit" from someone who had a horizontal kick-push off the table. Just my 2 cents.

a stiff cookie? lol.. thanks..I need that today..lmao as for the rest I agree with you for the most part. I also feel more likely to get injured when squared up and uncomfortable.

armwrestling=John Brzenk
im a fan of him,i believe that his name is first that comes to the mind when its about armwrestling,as Bruce lee about kung fu.i really cant find enough good words to express how great armwrestler he is.i love armwrestling and its very normal that i admire his armwrestling life.at the age 41 he still is the man to beat,and with his last performance he will be the man to beat in the next ten years.
