After Chris pulled out a third in Chehalis, shouldn't he be invited to attend the Mohegan Sun Tourney. Isn't that part of the equation here? The top six 198's get to pull at Chehalis then rematch at Mohegan Sun? They are all tired and nobody gets a rest. If Kenny Hughes backs out of the event, should the competitor who just took third to Brzenk and Hutch get the spot? This is not a crack at James, I know he's got the talent to be right up there and I respect his abilities, but I'm just considering the most recent results. JMO Jim

I agree with you Jim, but the six were picked before this tournament was done. If Kenny was to back out, which he is not, Chris might be the best alternate. The only thing that sucks for him is he has no left arm!!!

Pete, Good point, I forgot Mohegen is right and left. How is James' left? I know he's told me before that he doesn't pull left at all. Chris can pull left, but it's no where near as good as his right. Jim

I spoke with Kenny yesterday about it and he is coming. And Chris has no left, just like me. But he pulled amazing the other day and I am very proud of him.

i dont think we have to worry about chris being invited any big shows like this one in the future....he proved that he truly is one of the best 198lb pullers in the country.

Just wanted to move this thread back to the first page in case the Mohegan Sun directors have anyone back out at the last minute. Chris lives in NY and is definately a phone call away. Jim

Jim, Thank you for the information regarding Chris and we encourage him to attend the event on Sunday August 7, as with any other armwrestlers that meet the requirements. There is a slight chance an invited competitor may not attend. As James has said, Kenny is scheduled to make the event. James do you have Kenny's Cell Number? Just to clarify, the Chehalis tournament had/has nothing to do with the Mohegan Sun event. It is unfortunate that the date of the Mohegan Sun followed Sol's tournament and is a week before the Unified Nationals in Little Rock. If we could have avoided this, we certainly would have. This is the date that FSN had open to film and for the better of the sport of armwrestling we took it. From what I have read on the message board, Sol's tournament was a hugh success. Congratulations Sol. John Burgeson (661) 816-4430 www.proarmwrestling.com

John, sorry I don't have Kenny's # but I hung out with him in Chehalis and he assured me he will be there. I gave him some extra incentive to win the lefty class and expect him to do very well.

John, I didn't mean to imply the two events were linked and promoted together. I apologize if that's how it read. I appreciate your effort and the amount of work you've already put into this event. It will definately be the biggest event this year. I look forward to meeting you in the future. If I can assist you with anything I'm a phone call away. All the best. Jim Bryan
