Most guys on the above rankings are well known and are def solid top ten pullers, but who has Jason Ryan or Dan Benoit beat to get themselves ranked? No disrespect, just curious because, I don't see much on arm tv and I hadn't heard of em till recently.... i'll check but i'm sure Ryan beat fisk at Show of Champs. Benoit has placed high in all classes he's pulled and he beat Alger at Fl STAlso, I know Jeff Workman has been around for a while, but I can't seem to remember him having many big wins either. No disrespect, just curious. he's ususlly 1st in class here in FL and top 3 wherever he pulls.Casto (don't travel much) but he is ranked way too low both hands. Reference past Ky muscle's, Oh State's and 09 AAA nat'ls honestly myself, Chop or Stump have never heard of the man until votes came out...sorry.Where's Alper LH? His right is decent, but his left is a bad Mf'er he fell outside of the votes....i had him in mine. Also, how did Daniel Story get left off the left hand list??? (Beat Alex Jigalco last year and has beat James R..along with a ton of other good pullers.) again someone voted for Daniel, just one guy though.....not enough votes...sorry. Charles Fisk shoulda made both list!!! WTF? Dude has wins over good pullers in 98's and 220's and has been around 4-eva and is still active!!! He pulled in Orlando last year also, Md, WV and NC winning some and placing top 3 in every event both hands..... thy can check my list..i had him at 11....other guys voted for him...he fell short...sorryJames R is a top dog 98's rh and he has been around a while and pulled most folks up and down the east coast from 54's to heavy's ....has anyone bothered to ask his opinion on any of these classes? If not, you may want to. we have our committee set..6 guys 6 diff states....thats plenty....but if James was to put his opinion on here it would be respected. I'd be curious to know how each of you voted and the reasoning behind it. A little objectivity and research would go a long way as to making these rankings relevant. i voted based on research and who i know....Giles it's hard for me to say Castro can beat Benoit when it's never happened?...when i beleive diff, and like ive stated before ..with 6 voters the biased will be thinned out...obviously Benoit is respected within the (5) that voted.....i hope i've shed some light onn the subject, i'm trying to get it right.....there is no disrespect intended to anyone...when those pullers not mentioned kick someones ass, i'll be the first to say.....make the change!TK

I think we should definitely keep track of every tournament within the region and the top 3 from that tournament. That will give us a good list to work with for the rankings. Within 6 months we should have a great rankings. For now the list is a little laughable.
Where does Matt Swann live?
Josh White should probably be in the top 10 Left Handed. He placed 1st at TN State last year over Mark Taggart. Tied for 5th at KY Muscle, tied with Andrew Casto. Placed 1st in 189 at Tri State over Dean Sain. Placed 2nd at Music City over Ryan Feltner and Mike Gianelli. He placed 1st at AAA East TN in '09 over Matt Swann and Chad Lowder.
Also right handed, Shane Alger placed 1st at AL State last year over Taggart.
I also agree that Andrew Casto should be top 3 both hands. He won KY Muscle in the 242 in '09 and was the highest placed puller from the Southeast right and left handed in 2010. He beat Ryan Barnett at that tournament, so he should at least switch places with him. Check out the video of him pulling Bill Logsdon at Kentucky Muscle. He is right there with him.

Don't know.....only one guy had him on their list.
Josh White should probably be in the top 10 Left Handed. He placed 1st at TN State last year over Mark Taggart.
Not one person had him on their list? Josh white?
Also right handed, Shane Alger placed 1st at AL State last year over Taggart.
Alger and Taggart are in the top 10
I also agree that Andrew Casto should be top 3 both hands.
He was listed on 3 list not on 3..... Honestly with no disrespect intended ..... I don't know him..... I'm watching and learning this year so I can get to learn everybody.....to make the top 10 in this region is good.

To help this along ..... The first original 10 is based on a vote by 6 diff people from 6 diff areas in hopes that all areas would place their pullers where they think they should be. Within 12 states the possibility of diff pullers facing are slim. From what I seen from each 10 votes casted it was exactly what I expected. Including myself I ranked from my area( which is where my knowledge is) as did the other 5.
This original 10 is a starting platform! Not the most accurate! Nit the most biased either! The pullers have the chance to change it.
As I've asked before, be patient and it'll fix itself as time passes and tourneys passs.
Trying to be fair in ranking 12 states, it's not easy!
Thanks,
TK

Tk, thanks for the support man! As for everyone complaining and saying I never leave my state I got 2nd at vermont state last year right behind RVJ? Of course he smashed me, thats not the point. laconia bike week I got a 1st and a second? I made sure I said hi when I flew over you guys. Thanks to Jerry C, RVJ and the infamous Frank Hirst for letting me come train. Sorry you guys dont know me. Ive had a couple Long matches with frank hirst left in tourneys that Ive lost. Dan Martin(team worlds this year) and I had a battle from hell right handed which again I lost. Im just in the shadows as for now but honestly my only reference right handed is shane alger and alpher. If I were to vote today I would put alpher way ahead of me. For the record I walk around at 225 230 all the time and cut my weight and rehydrate im pretty good at it.

Alper (although his right is no where near as good as his left) and Alger are solid wins fo sho. That's all I was looking for to justify TK ranking you above guys like Andrew Casto (gotta who's who list of wins) and Charles Fisk who's been pulling actively for like 15 years and I'm pretty sure beat James Battles at natl's in 2008 in west palm in the straps. Not to mention he's beat a ton of other solid guys over the years all over the US.
But yeah, those two dudes are solid. Good for you.
I'm still making my name too. I got no love from TK (big surprise) and off the top of my head, here's just some of the good pullers I beat in the past year
RH Dustin Morgan Guy Windover Charles Fisk Chris Heath Art Spindler Jr Andrews Daniel Story Randy Stanaway Ray Berry
LH Darrnell Burris Noah Sanders Ray Darling Guy Windover Chad Lowder Ray Berry Mike Gianelli Anthony Edens Dean Sain
have to mention in the overalls I beat C. Heath, Ken Smith and Jr Andrews
also have past wins over Mike West and Colby Anderson Lefty
Just sayin'....
Hopefully, I'll be adding more good names to my list in March (NAL) and May (possibly Contraband).

If you can make it to contraband you will have a big chance to go higher up in the rankings. Great talent will be there to test your skills.
