Lol I know. I was just messing about him dominating. But he is a bad dude. And deserving of much respect. He just needs to saddle back up and show the worlds what he's made of.

Kudos to Andrew, that is an impressive feat. To clarify, Andrew beat me at the 2009 AAA nationals (not my best day). However, whenever I have seen Andrew look his best, it was always at a heavier weight. He did not fair too well at Kentucky at 198 but at 209 is beating the likes of Frank and Mike. Fritz Corey was in that 209 class and did not have a great day. Does that mean he drops off the top spot in the 220 class? Personally I would like to see Andrew pull Timmy Mcphereson for the top spot at 220. I have always had good matches with Tim and Andrew's move inside could give Tim trouble.
However, like I said, if you want to list Andrew at first at 198 I have no issue with it. I sure as hell don't want to be given a ranking I don't deserve or didn't earn. All I can do is what I always do, train hard, pull harder and hope for the best.

James R vs Andrew Casto this is the match I most want to see, I think both are on a different level then the last time they met, I ranked James first over Andrew based on opinion of some of James recent wins and now even more I think this one is up in the air but if we are going by last win ...fact over opinion...then Casto , then James for now but I believe these two are the standouts in the class

I think James answered my question best. Is he 198 or 220?..... And his last win over James was 2009..... That really can't count against James rank now.....I will not agree to put Andrew over James until he beats him.... Sorry folks no 1 doesn't drop without a loss......Avants shouldn't drop without a loss!.....
We all swinging here, but Avants is a bad dude, not so active..... But he shouldn't lose a spot.....
We gave these guys spots to lose and spots to defend...... I'm not gonna rip it apart because one guy has a great day......
I agree he should advance, but he dominated in a 209 class.... Which is 10 pds over 198.....10 pds in this sport fellas belive it or not means a lot.
I'll go along with top 5 at no 4.
We'll have a long debate otherwise.....
I wanna see him pull at 198 also.
Not trying to be a d!ck, just trying to fair and accurate.
But he didn't score a win on not one 198 guy in the top 10 ahead of him?
Let's keep it fair

I agree that the guys who haven't lost shouldn't be punished. I am merely pointing out the fact that Andrew Casto was seriously underrated in the intial ranking. Andrew did pretty well at the Kentucky Muscle, I believe he lost to Bill Logsdon on fouls and possibly to Quinlan Mendez (who just won the Arnold). I don't think the 209 weight meant much, if anything it was the set up that Travis used that worked to his advantage. And to totally discredit Andrew's win over James because it was 16 months before we did our initial ranking is absurd. Both of these gentlemen have been pulling for years and aren't going to be making the kinds of gains that newer pullers can during that same period of time. I'm not saying that the results won't differ next time they pull, just that I used facts when creating my ranking.

I think we did fine with how they were ranked due to not knowing who could beat who..... Top 10 was tight full of good talent...... So far James R, Taggart & workman have represented their classes well....Avants will pull Apr 30.....noone in La can beat him at 198.... I can't justify dropping them. TK

198 RIGHT HAND
1. JAMES RETARIDES (NC)*$ 2. JERRY AVANTS (LA) 3. MARK TAGGART (TN)+ 4. JEFF WORKMAN (FL)** 5. Andrew Castro (wv) 6. Colby Anderson (la) 7. DAN BENOIT (FL)* 8. Shane Alger (Fl) 9. RYAN THAMES (LA) 10. ALPAR COSAR (FL)
My proposal
Castro moves to 5
Benoit over Alger (fl state)but both drop...
Giving Andrew top 5 where he belongs.
The top 4 have already pulled thier class, and placed 1st
Exception of Avants st tourney Apr 30.... Defending AAA champ iiregardless of who was there... It still remains what it is national champ!
I think Its fair.....
Let me know guys.

LoL Casto being no.5 is not an insult and you know it! That's a real good 10.... It'll be hard to get movement within that 5..... If I was a bettin man , or If I had any money to bet... LoL My $$ would go on Avants being the best of that 5. Love back at ya Aaron I stand behind my rankings! TK

not gettin riled up....just sayin.
Now, I DO BELIEVE your rankings will work themselves out. Some how they HAVE TO, being that they are rankings based on results.
That being said, you might be waiting about 5 yrs at this pace for these things to work themselves out! Have fun with it.....and enjoy getting old while they adjust! That little boy you just had might be pulling Junior Worlds in the 2024 WAF by the time daddy got it right! Then.....you sit back, drink a cold one with the young man and marvel at what you have done!!! Ha! Just bustin yur balls a little!
