Is your handle's spring the one twice-stronger? I remember John offered two versions of 3D handle, lighter version and stronger version.

I think that is the single spring model. It was around September that I started going with my new double springs. Usually the two links are painted black. But that one does have a stiffer spring in it then my earlier ones.
