Hey Guys....

I just thought a few of you might want to know what happened at our Canadian Championships so far.

Today the Masters, Grand Masters and Physically Challenged classes ran and saw so awesome match ups and upsets. For the first time in 25 years George Iszakouits and Tony Senger finally met....they had a good 2 minute match with George finally taking the win.

Other winners were Rick Baarbe, Craig Mitchell, Rick Pinkney, Paul Beinnanault, Dave Hicks, George Gottschack and Vern Martel ( and guess what.... no kidney stone attacks! .... touch wood)

The physically challenge classes had Garry Kell, Allen Heindricks and Vern Martel winning their divisions.

Awesome turn out so far and tomorrow is shaping up to be one of our best Canadian's so far. I will try and post what I can tomorrow to let you guys know who will be joining you at the World's in South Africa.

My prayers tonight will be to use John Brzenk arm for just one day tomorrow. ;D

Vern I am sorry to hear about the extent of your continued health concerns, I wish you the very best in beating this which I know you will, you have never ceased to amaze me and I am sure that trend will continue.

Go show everyone why you are one of the most feared light weight pullers in north america. I know you will do well.

A little something for those wondering what Nationals were like. Thanks to good ol' technology I am able to update the site hundreds of miles away from home! It is virtually impossible to update with only a dial up connection in the room. Two hours to upload for a five minute clip! Not!
