This subject is a touchy topic for some people. With a lot of uncertainty and instability in our nation currently this seems to be a red button topic. Let's discuss this tactfully and keep it subjective. I personally feel it is over due. Mexico is the largest contributor of illegal immigrants in the US. We are providing criminals with social assistance they don't deserve. We are also laying the ground work for a revolving door. Enough is enough and something needs to be done. There is a language in the United States it's English. There is a test to obtain a citizenship, it needs to be enforced. I'm fed up with bending over back wards to please critics. There are standards for a reason why do we turn a blind eye to them. All these people that come here with an attitude of entitlement should be served a piece of humble pie. It's time for us to take a stand on this issues before it cascades completely out of control. Which is probably sooner than later.

Sadly..... What we grew up believing America was.... Is no more.
I think the majority are just totally ok with (unkowingly) the united states simply disolving.

This country was NOT built on minority (majority) rules. If you want to come from another country legally and respect the Constitution and pitch in on taxes, your more than welcome. That may be a hate crime, me wanting equality.

Immigration should be a 1-for-1 trade. If you want to come here, work, pay your taxes, learn English and be a good citizen...America was founded for people just like you. Come on and join us. We'd love to have you.
For every new citizen we take one lazy, perpetual welfare recipient, generational moocher and dump you on the other side of the border of your choice. You lose your American citizenship. Fend for yourself or starve, your choice. If you decide to apply yourself, get some job skills, and become generally useful- you may get in line and apply to immigrate to the US like any other foreign national.
We take applications in the order they are received. Each is decided on a case by case basis, with preference to those who can demonstrate the best value as an American citizen.

Except it's not enforced.
I just bought a bag of jalapeño cheetohs and Spanish was actually before English. Needless to say I will probably never buy those again. I hate how everything is in Spanish and English now. This Is America! Learn English if you want to live here. I also hate when I can't understand what the f*** the person is saying on the other end of the phone, store or whatever it me be..

And yes illegal immigration is crap - but in south south texas - its just something you get used too. I'm sure its the same way all across the southern border.
I can understand why people want to leave Mexico. I do not understand why the government does not do CRAP to stop the drug violence. I do not know why we go to Afghanistan - Iraq - and Lybia - to supposedly protect the people, instead of going to Mexico and wiping the floor with all those thug cartels.
Especially since the violence, murders, and attacks are starting to spread into the US.
Stupid.

All too often the reason things get out of hand, especially illegal issues, is complacency among the ones who need to/can do something about it. When it is acknowledged there are no consequences, then what reason(s) should the perp. stop committing the crime? There are none, thus continuance.

It's sad when politicians place emphasis on illegal agendas to catipult their career. What happened to a system for the people by the people? Welcome back Allen.
