With the surprise knock out of Antonio big foot Silva Cormier secured his spot in the finals. Who will win? The winner is rumored to possibly get a title shot against the UFC heavyweight champion. I want to see the veteran Barnett go the distance.

This should be a good fight after seeing them both the other night and seeing Barnett a few times. I would think Barnett should win but you never know. I don't believe either of these guys can hang with the top 5 or 6 heavies in the UFC!!

Who do think could beat him? The only ones I think are capable would be Cain or Dos Santos that's it.

Barnett or Cormier?  Velasquez , Dos Santos, Carwin, Frank Mir, Cheick Congo, Lesner (hate to say that) and for sure Overeem!! I would say that Mittrione, Nelson, Pat Barry and Big Nog too....I am thinking it doesn't matter which one of these 2 win either! |

I strongly disagree. Seems like you under estimate Barnett's experience and skill. I see Dos Santos ands Velasquez giving him issues. The rest I don't think pose a threat. Mitrione has loads of potential. I think he needs time though.

I guess we'll disagree then but I can't believe you think Barnett would beat Overeem or Carwin??? Some of the others maybe but at least the 2 above and the ones you mentioned...

If Overeem thought he could beat him than he would have taken the easy money and stayed in the tournament. Carwin is a huge disappointment. I don't think he's a top caliber fighter. We will see. Barnett is the man, I gotta cheer for the old school.

Carwin will be back, after each loss he has worked on his shortfalls and has fixed the problems (ie cardio and now boxing). I'm not sure but I think Zuffa pulled Overeem out of the tournament so they could have him in the UFC, they will probably get rid of Strikeforce or just keep them around and take all the talent but that's just my opinion.
I have a hard time with the old school guys now, for the simple fact that everyone kept saying "oh so and so from Pride would kill everyone from the UFC" and that didn't happen, even Fedor fizzled... Wandy and Kro Cop were my favorites by the way.

Well the top five IMO Cain, Junior, Josh, Allistar, Brock. Congo is pure garbage and over rated. Big country and Carwin are ok but not title contenders. Mitrione is a stud but needs time. I think Barnett is hungry an focused. I just like his attitude. The boy is a pure savage. I will always cheer for the "Warmaster" from Washington.  |
