I raced motocross for six years. Started on a kx and ended on a Honda crf 450. I sold my last bike in 2005. To this day it was my best times but after my last wipeout and a few friends left paralyzed I quit.

Awesome idea, Tom. I grew up on dirt bikes and ATVs but nothing serious like you.
I always wanted to throw some big weekend armwrestling shindig too but I would like it to revolve around shooting guns. A whole hog in the smoker would be nice too.
I still think a tournament on a cruise would be the best.

I was racing the b class in the OK state series when I watched Ricky C on an 80cc bike jumping a 120 foot table top doing the bubba scrub. His lap times were faster the the pro class. Man I miss those days. Dont miss the trips to the ER

Quads are the way to go! the closest thing i have to a bike is a cr500 bored 60 over on a 250r frame. It freakin screams at the dunes also got a raptor 660 that I race cross country with.

Mike Gould used to race motocross very competitively back in the day. I'm not sure if he reads off topic or not so he may not see this

Mike Gould was a National Ice Racing Champion and also won a Flat track National title I believe. He is the reason I bought my 82 CR250. We had some good times ridin back in the day. He was mental on a bike.............

Mike ran both the 250 and 500 classes. He had a few different bikes incluing CRs but the 500 Kawi was scary fast. He busted up his right wrist one day when we were out in a sand pit f'in around on the Kawi. He didnt race much after that. He's a tough SOB and has alot of broken parts on him from motocross.
